Food is always excellent and consistent. Chicken is hot and moist, toast is always good, and the fries are tasty and usually crisp and fresh.
Update: Their dining room service has returned and is consistent with their pre-pandemic standards of service, quality, and consistency. I have updated my review back up to 5 stars.
The dining room experience has been very inconsistent for the past several months. I'm not sure if it's staffing issues or what, but some days the dining room is open, some days it is not, and you won't know until you get there. I have come numerous times to a closed dining room in the middle of the day, despite it being open the day before. This is despite the clear marking of the door with "temporary dining room hours" showing it should be open.
I hope that they get their staffing issues resolved, or can give a clearer expectation of when their dining room will...
Read moreMy church youth group came to this store in quite a large group on a Saturday afternoon as we were passing by on our way to a Newsboys concert in Austin. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating, prompt, and respectful.
I was impressed by the fact that they began serving our food before our group had even finished ordering!
Moreover, when one of the kids in our group accidentally spilled his drink, the lady behind the counter smiled the entire time she mopped up the mess the floor - reassuring us that it was no big deal and that they would get it cleaned up for us.
Finally, the food was delicious - some of the best Cane's I've ever had.
