As a regular, I've consistently been impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their warmth, efficiency, and dedication to customer satisfaction make every visit a delightful experience. It's evident that the team here puts their heart into their work, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that stands out.
However, my admiration for the staff's efforts is tinged with concern due to noticeable issues that seem to stem from upper management's oversight. Firstly, it was disheartening to learn that these hardworking individuals are compensated at $11/hr in a place where the average smoothie is about $10. This pay rate not only falls drastically below a living wage, but is a clear indicator of upper management's deliberate disregard for the very employees who are the backbone of this business. One has to question the ethics and values of a CEO that fails to recognize or care about the basic financial needs of it's staff. The impact of this neglect goes beyond just numbers, it's a matter of respect and decency.
Additionally, the physical state of the shop leaves much to be desired. The ongoing shortage of supplies and the neglected ceiling with holes and water stains are stark reminders of the lack of investment and attention from those at the top. This neglect not only affects the customer experience but also reflects a concerning lack of pride and care in the business.
If I were in the position of these employees, I would seriously consider going on strike or reporting these issues to the Georgia Department of Labor. Such action might be necessary to bring about the change that is desperately needed.
The staff here are the shining stars but their efforts are being overshadowed by management's lack of attention to essential aspects of the business. As a customer + manager who values quality, service and ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES, I urge upper management to reevaluate their priorities and start valuing their employees as they rightly deserve. The success of Arden's Garden should not be built on the backs of...
Read moreOver the past few years I have been a loyal customer to Ardens Garden and in particular the Vinings location, however, my most recent experience has left me not wanting to support the Ardens garden brand. I experienced the most absurd, rude, and disrespectful customer service ever from the associate Robin. Robin proceeded to get an aggressive attitude, be argumentative, and tried to refuse servicing me as I was trying to make a large purchase and redeem my rewards. Due to the terrible customer serve I ended up leaving mid purchase and not purchasing the 18 juices I was intending to.
In Addition, When I contacted the store the next day to speak with the Assistant Manager (Malika) again, she apologized for the associates behavior , but did not provide any resolution for my concerns expressed or any intention to hold that associate accountable for her behavior. So, I proceeded to ask for the Store Manager as well as the district/regional managers contact info to further discuss my concerns and Malika LIED by told me there was no Store Manager, District Manager, or Regional Manager. She stated that the Store manager was in the midst of leaving and at the moment there would be no one for me to contact above her (the ASSISTANT manager)....This didn't make any sense given my personal background in management even when changes are happening there is ALWAYS someone above you unless your the CEO! I contacted another location to verify and that Store Manager said that everything Malika told me was incorrect. These interactions have left an extremely bad taste in my mouth concerning this location and Arden's Garden...
Read moreAfter a 4-mile walk in 85° weather on a Sunday afternoon, my friend and i were parched. An Arden's Garden was on our way back to my friend's place so we stopped in.
The first thing I noticed was the smell from a recent disinfecting and cleaning. Kudos to them for doing this. The next thing I noticed was that the employees were wearing gloves. Kudos once again. Finally, the two people working were knowledgeable about their product and were friendly, something in short supply in retail today.
I bought a 20 oz. green smoothie to split with my friend (no idea what the name is but it's one of their featured smoothies - $7 and change plus tax) and a smaller smoothie for me made with pineapple juice, blueberries, papaya, and mango ($4 and change plus tax). I think the total came to $13 and change.
Both were delicious, surprisingly thirst-quenching, and affordable, especially for the quality of their ingredients.
Do I recommend this...
