Extremely bad customer services at this location with an African American lead at the window. After waiting in the line observing two associates standing around under the tent fail to approach the vehicle to take the order I proceed to move forward. Once at the menu board intercom, I set for another five minutes without an anyone requesting or taking the order. I decide to move forward with only a few cars in front of mines then at this point the young guy decided to approach the car. I didn’t understand because Chick-fil-a never has allowed their associates to conduct themselves in this matter. However, once the guy decides to take the order it appear he was unable to work the order tablet. So, I told him I continue to proceed forward slowly to move line up. At this point the last car in front had pull off & left the premise. After completing my order in the front, he continues to attempt to take the person in the back seat order. However, while attempting to complete the person order in the backseat he request assistant on entering the order from another approaching associate. While waiting on the associate to complete the person order in the back seat, I notice another associate walk pass the vehicle with a bag. At this point, everyone order had gotten completed and we had approached the window. Of course, the order had been entered late, so I asked can I get the condiments to be put in the bag while I wait. At this point, the associate I had previous observe with the bag comes back & attempted to provide me with this order in his hands. I advise this because of Covid-19, I requested a fresh order since I observe the associate attempting to give the order to individuals two cars behind prior to approaching mines. He agreed to request another order, however, the customer service continuous to go extremely downhill. Once at the window, one of the associates outside the window, requested me to move forward while waiting on the order. I advise the associate I had no problem with moving, however again I requested for condiments prior to moving forward. At this point, another person inside comes charging out from the back to window screaming you need to move forward, or she would call the police. At this point, I am confused how it this has escalated to calling the police since I had just request condiments. Of course, I advise her the associate was handling the order late & I just requested condiments in a bag while I wait. She screams to says I’m calling the police & requested the associated to take a picture of my tag. Again, upset with her attitude, as well as her instructing an associate to take a picture of my tag. So, after her actions, I requested her name and asked for her position. She responded by saying “I am not providing you anything” So, I attempted to get out of the car to see her badge & to attempt to take a picture of her badge. She then turns to run away toward the phone as though she is calling someone. Still in the vehicle, I began to speak with the associate outside about my order since a certain amount time had passed dealing with this unprofessional & rudely person. Again, she comes back to the window saying you are trespassing on private property, so I’ve called the police. So, I said great please call & requested her position. She began to mock my statement. She mocks my words, by saying you want to know - “I’m who” and “what is my position.” I still confused on this person unprofessional this person is conducting herself & the rudeness. At this point the order for the person in the backseat had been completed. The associates hand this individual incorrect item on his order. Yes, still at the window the associates are heard verbally requesting the other associates inside to hurry before this unprofessional lead again approaches the window. If this is the results of Chick-fil-a lead / management team then it is...
Read moreHave been out all day running errands and attending doc appts. Had a brief moment at 1:45pm that I could grab a quick bite through the drive thru and thought this would be my fastest option. First, drive thru was slower than any other Chick-fil-A I’ve been to. Second, I told the kid taking my order that I wanted a #8 (Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap Meal) with fat free honey mustard, fruit cup, and diet lemonade. He rang me up, I paid, and slowly made my way around. I grabbed my meal and headed out. When I got into the mall parking lot to get back on 85, I reached in the bag and realized it was hot. I saw that I was given fries. I thought oh well, he got the fruit cup wrong I’ll just eat my wrap. Nope. No wrap; it was nuggets. I looked at the sticker on the bag and instead he gave me an 8 count nugget with fries, fat free HM, and diet lemonade. I turned around to go back. Fat me would have ate this normally but healthier me said no to the temptation. I went inside and explained what had happened. The girl passed around my bag and explained to 4 different people what happened before she came back to me. She then proceeded to tell me she would need to ring up the cool wrap meal and then calculate the difference between the two meals and I would need to pay it before she could give me my meal because my fruit cup was more money. I was already running behind for my next appointment and I said no because my purse and phone were in my car so I had zero time to run back out, come back, wait for her to calculate, etc. so I said can I just have the cool wrap and you keep the fruit cup? She handed me the cool wrap and I left.
While I feel zero entitlement to the meal and would normally (if I hadn’t already lost tome) paid for the difference and been fine. What I’m more shocked by is that this doesn’t seem like typical Chick-fil-A behavior. I feel like I could say with 110% confidence that the Jefferson, Commerce, and Athens locations would have heard the mess up that their employee did, and would have immediately apologized and handed me the correct item no questions asked and certainly not telling me they needed to calculate and charge me the fruit cup difference before I could leave. Just really bad customer service especially considering the culture that Chick-fil-A has created as a “my pleasure” world. Will not be back to this location. Just incredibly tacky since the error was on the employee and not me. It only makes me think that my $4 fruit cup would have sent them spiraling into bankruptcy or the owner is so greedy that one dime...
Read moreThey have a mobile pick-up area, for anyone to grab anyone else's order. I went to pick up my Door Dash order, it was not on the mobile shelf. I stood there waiting for 6 1/2 minutes, before anyone acknowledged me. Employees made eye contact with me & kept walking. I politely asked if my customer's order was ready. Employee walked away from me , making me feel like she was ignoring me. Never answered & continued to bring orders to the mobile pick up area. The shift manager asked me if I was ok, I answered no, she just stood there not bothering to ask why or what was the problem. Again making me feel like I was being ignored. I tried to explain that I received a msg that the order was ready. Again, she turned her back & walked away without answering me. Eventually, she came back & said the order was already picked up. I explained that it must have been taken in error. I asked her to remake it. She said no, that they "were not allowed". Chic-Fil-A can afford to re-make a breakfast sandwich, in the name of customer service. Not to mention, that they are responsible for the orders until they are picked up. I had to call Door Dash support, because I was stuck in that order & could not continue. The employee just walked away & left me standing there. How much trouble would it be to remake a breakfast sandwich ?? Chic-Fil'A can certainly afford the loss. If the mobile order pick up area is unsecured, I feel they are responsible for missing orders. So, the order was cancelled, customer received a full refund & I was left standing there literally NOT holding the bag & left out. None of the breakfast staff could smile. I got the impression that they hated their jobs or that those of us picking up orders were a bother. A smile can really go a long way. BIG deficit of customer service, not only to me but to our customer & ill feelings created. Very sad. I have never encountered this kind of treatment from any other Chic-Fil'A. Don't ever want...
