Chicken Salad Chick has been one of my favorite restaurants since I lived in Alabama. After moving to GA, I don't live close to one so when I see one, I make sure to stop by. Today I had the worst experience ever and I'm not sure why. The restaurant was busy for a Saturday afternoon. From inception, there were 4 flavors that were sold out. I ordered 3 different chicken salad plates. Order was placed at 2:09 p.m. There were many people standing around waiting for food. I sat next two 2 ladies; One was a uber driver, waiting for a $7 order, the second was a lady who placed an order yesterday to be picked up today. This lady had been waiting for 45 minutes. At one point in time, she was told that one of the chicken salad flavors was sold out and not available. That seemed to be the story of the day, but being that she placed her order yesterday, that should have not happened to her. Around 2:40, I realized that I was still waiting. I noticed several people asked for refunds after waiting or after being told that their flavor of salad was sold out (AFTER they had placed and PAID for the order). After waiting almost 40 minutes, I decided to ask for a refund as well.
My problem: I never saw a manager or person in charge. The manager was in the back and left 3 young ladies to man the front area (taking orders, letting customers know when flavors were sold out (after they had paid for the order); giving refunds). When I asked for a refund, one young lady left to get the manager. The manager never appeared and instructed the young lady on how to give the refund. (I am hoping to see the refund on my account soon). No one seemed to be in charge. I have been in a busy Chicken Salad Chick before (Perimeter)and once the manager noticed people waiting, he/she always asked the customer for their order again and processed the order themselves. Once I was told that my refund would be processed, I left. Note: the two ladies that I sat by were STILL WAITING.
In spite of this, I'm sure I will visit the restaurant again. Maybe this was just a bad day because it's Mother's Day weekend, but I really hope to never...
Read moreI was so excited to see a location close to me. I’d been a fan on this business for years and was excited to finally give my Dollars to a location nearby. I’d visit the Marietta location several times never had an issue until my last visit. My daughter and I have our favorites. And what I normally get it’s already packed in the. carton. My daughter does the same. We take it home and eat straight from the container with our crackers. The one that I usually get is the classic and my daughter has the fruity Fran. Neither were available in the cooler. I’m previous visits when none were available in the cooler they would pack A container for me. This last visit they refused to. The reason was they were low on product and had to save what they had for sandwiches. Which I understand but left very disappointed. My daughter felt the same way. I have tried the other varieties I’ve tried all of them. So it wasn’t about just getting something else it was about getting what I want it. We love taking our dollars elsewhere. The representative also told me that 2 half cartons will make a whole. But a whole carton is $12.99 while a half is $6.99. That means for 2 half’s I would pay $13.98 versus $12.99. Read moreIf you like being yelled at this is the place to go. I ordered online through the app and arrived after the time it was supposed to be ready. Upon arriving I was told they did not have my order. After a little investigation the staff realized they had placed my order in pending status. I was told they would take care of it ASAP. After a 15 minute wait I was told they did not have some of the items I ordered so I requested a refund. After another 15 minute wait, the manager on duty asked me what I was doing. I asked if he was the manager because I was waiting on the manager to issue a refund. He began yelling through the window that he had done it already and I needed to check my email. I stated I wasn't told that so I didn't know. He continued to yell that if I had checked my email I would already know it. I was so upset I left crying. I usually love CSC but I'm not sure I will ever visit another location after this experience. On a somewhat positive note, two of the staff members working the register were very kind and helpful.
