Horrible inventory system. My kids have been all excited about all the Harry Potter Lego stuff coming out and have anxiously been awaiting the Harry Potter Lego minifigures. I have been to 4 targets including this one in Winder. They were set to be released on August 1st and on the website it says they are available at all these targets. When i went to the store, an employee stocking shelves in the toy department looked them up and said yep we have them. On his computer and online it says they are in the check out aisles and they have 330 of them available. After searching high and low, in check out aisles and in the toy department, he went to the back and discovered they didn't in fact have them and they had never been delivered from the vendor. This also was not the only store that had the same exact story. So how can it show being in stock when in fact none of the stores in the area have a single one???? What a huge waste of gas, time and energy. Wasn't Target like the Harry Potter go to place having their stuff earlier than everyone else? What a huge disappointment for my kids. On a positive note the employees at the Winder store are extremely nice and friendly. They went above and beyond to try to find the item and then figure out the problem. The employees I interacted with were 5 stars.
UPDATE I decided to update my post from 1 to 3 stars because of the employees excellent service and the fact that the area manager contacted me and assured me they understood the frustration and would try to figure out what the problem was with the system. It seems to be more a regional problem than just the Winder Target. I did find the lego mini figures a week or 2 after this post at Walmart. I have also seen them at 5 Below and Barnes and Nobles if anyone is specifically looking...
Read moreWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED
No one answers the phone at this store. I have called every department in the past couple days and have received zero response in Customer service, pharmacy, clothing, electronics and even HR refuses to answer the phone. I have called several times to contact customer service to confirm an item was available. Since I was unable to receive service over the phone, I drove up to this Target to speak to someone at customer service. Upon arriving in line as the second guest, with 2 customer service employees present and only 1 assisting the person in front of me. The gentleman decided he was going to walk away from the register to fold clothes behind the employee already assisting someone. He then chose to acknowledge my existence and asked me how he could assist me. I asked if the item was available and he proceeded to inform me they were out of stock and then printed out a receipt paper for me to write my name and number down so I may get a call when the item is in stock. Seeing how my information was wrote on a receipt paper (which probably found its way into the trash) I don't see how you can be keeping track of peoples names ans numbers properly with this system.
This store is a joke and these people are making good money to not answer phones and ignore customers in line.
Steer clear of this joke of a store. They do not care about your business nor do they care about keeping customers. All they care about is clocking in and making their paychecks.
It's really sad when their are actual people who would kill for a job and the workers at Target get paid to treat people this way.
If I could give this store negative...
Read moreI stood at the pharmacy for a few mins to ask a pharmacist a question. The 2 ladies were at their desk. They both looked at me and continued to do whatever they were doing. One looked like she was hiding because she laid her head down once I made direct eye contact. It was very weird. But she got back up and asked what I needed. Neither of them approached the counter so I had to talk loudly in order for them and everyone else around to hear me. I asked for a recommendation and she didnât say anything. I named a medication and asked if it was a good over the counter medicine. She looked at me like she didnât want to be bothered and said âyeah itâs goodâ I know they arenât real doctors but Iâm sure they would know or recommend a good brand of over the counter medicine. I will be contacting corporate because no one should be ignored or treat a customer like theyâre bothersome because theyâre asking a question. Plus the entire situation was weird and awkward for me. Iâm not sure what uni she went to but I wouldnât ask them any questions. You will most likely get the wrong or no answer at all. I bought the medicine I basically recommended myself and...
