Barrow Crossing — Local services in Winder

This McDonald's slow food restaurant is the worst I've ever dealt with. I waited in line forever, at 6:00am, finally placed my order to a person who was either very stupid, or either spoke and understood broken english. Most of the workers are Spanish, and not Americanized. The manager was very rude, and thought she was still in El Salvador, or some other 3rd world country. I was given the totally wrong order, and when I told them, 5 people came near the window and stared me down, like I had a gun pointed at them. They refused to give me 'cash back' after I ran out of time for them to get me the right order, saying they didn't have enough cash. So the window zombie insisted on my VISA card for the refund, which she took all the way to the back, where the nasty Spanish manager was standing, and refunded? my money back to my card 🙏, and the zombie came back to window and handed me receipts and my card. That was the 1st time I had ever seen a window clerk take someone's credit card to the other side of a McDonald's restaurant to give customer a refund. I'm quite sure it is illegal to do that. Good thing I thought to take a picture of my credit card being taken that far away from the window, and out of my view!!!! No one ever said 'sorry' for not only wasting my 25 minutes, or for the totally wrong order, or for all the nastiness of the Spanish female manager, who was yelling at me asking "what order do you want?" etc. The dumb owner needs to HIRE QUALIFIED MANAGERS, and stop worrying about paying them enough! ...

They even ask you if you need help with anything while they were stocking shelves. One young guy went and found out what exact flavor "rainbow unicorn" was in a energy drink. I haven't been to El real in about 3 years. They only reason it's been so long is we go to his other location on Tuesday nights for taco Tuesday. We decided to go to El real last night since we were across the street. I, we were so disappointed ☹️. There was an issue with each entree. Either cold or ingredients were wrong. The nachos my husband ordered. Taco Bell does a better job. Seriously. I said that. The nachos were pitiful and el real should have been embarrassed. We sent it back. My chimichanga was supposed to not have beans. It did. The other two entrees. One was steaming hot. The other was cold. Not what I expected from this restaurant. It's usually top notch, in the past.
