When we first arrived, we tried to go through the drive-thru, but we sat for nearly 5 minutes and none of the 3 cars in either lane ahead of us moved. Not realizing this was our sign to find food elsewhere, we parked and went inside. Next red flag was there were at least 5 people in a slower-than-average line, but I saw the self-serve terminals to order food, so I unwittingly committed us to a 20-minute wait for food. Being our first time to order from the self-serve terminal, we asked the employee cleaning the dining area to confirm that the self-serve terminal does send our order to the front, that we just need to have our receipt to prove that we were the ones who ordered it, and she said, "Yes, you just give it to them up there," not answering the question, as if she either didn't understand what I was asking or didn't care, because if that actually was the answer to my question, it would mean I needed to give my receipt in order for them to start my order. When I approached the counter to ask someone behind the counter, the guy glanced at the order terminal and said, "Oh, wow, there are a lot of orders." He was wandering around trying to fix something, but he'd been moving really slowly, so it wasn't that he was willfully ignoring the crowd of customers. It was that he was absolutely oblivious. At this point, I noticed that a lot of salt had been dumped on the floor, but all three workers behind the counter (the oblivious guy, the woman manning the drive-thru, and the poor, undertrained woman at the register) ignored the large amount of salt spilled all over the floor near the fry station. (Admittedly, between filling orders and cleaning up the salt, I would have rather that they actually put a wiggle in getting orders filled, but it seems to be indicative of a day-long problem, so who knows how long that's all that was actually there. That's unsanitary and a fall hazard.) Oblivious guy filled maybe one order every 5-7 minutes, I think in the entire 25 minutes that we were there that only 3 other groups got their food, but when he wasn't slowly, almost casually wandering around filling orders, he was interrupted from his task to help the woman on the register, who didn't seem to have received enough training to be the only person on the register during a rush. After showing her what to do, it would seem that he forgot what he was doing and would have to start all over figuring out how to fill orders. There's a screen that's supposed to show you what order the numbers are being shown in to the employees in so that you know how long of a wait you have compared to the line, but the screen was experiencing an error where the entire image was moved up into the top left corner such that you could not see what numbers were at the top, making the entire screen useless, and it wasn't as simple as waiting for your number to be called in order, since there were numbers in the 200s, 700s, 800s, and 900s, in no particular order on what of the screen was visible. When our number was finally called, the man next to us was trying to ask for a refund because he just wanted his money back and to leave, and the oblivious guy replied saying, "Oh, I've been looking for you. Do you still want it?" The man said, "I want a refund." I think the man ultimately got his food without a refund, since oblivious guy seemed to not be understanding him, but I doubt he was satisfied with his order because after we left, we realized that the side items were wrong. We did not order any fries. Instead of the hash browns that I wanted with my breakfast sandwich, we got a small fry and a large fry. If either of us had wanted fries, this would have been a great thing. If the fries had actually been good, maybe it would have been a little bit of a positive way to end the exchange. The fries were only mildly still warm, even though we just got them, and they tasted kind of bad. Waste of time, and we didn't even get the quality of food we were expecting....
Read moreSTAY AWAY if you have CHILDREN, or LIVER/KIDNEY problems! The water in this store may be running through a clogged and saturated filter and contain additional toxins that may put you, or your children at risk!
This is without a doubt the worst McDonald's location I have ever seen. I ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese with fries and a Coke and a fish sandwich. The fish sandwich was the worst effort all star of the meal. They actually broke a slice of cheese in half to intentionally give me a sad little strip of disappointment on my dry and soulless sandwich (see attached picture). The tartar sauce was also just a tiny smear on one side of the dried out fish patty. I tried smearing it across the sandwich to get it back in the middle, but there was so little that you could see through it (see other attached picture). The meat tasted off on the double quarter pounder and the Coke tasted weak with a strong chemical flavor. I think the syrup is turned down on the machine to save money and the water filter has not been changed in a very long time, so all waters and sodas are being run through a toxin saturated filter, like a tea bag of chemical spite and hatred from the manager to all the customers, who have to drink this toxin-laden sludge. When I consider the half slice of cheese, the tiny smear of tartar sauce, the reduced level of soda syrup and the unchanged water filter in the soda machines, I believe that the general manager is trying to cut costs on ingredients and equipment, regardless of consumer health and safety. They are not following the McDonald's corporate guidelines for food preparation, cleanliness, safety and also the corporate approved recipes and preparation instructions for the menu items provided to the customer. Until corporate gets here to fix this store's management, I would avoid this location at all costs! Never eat at a place where the fountain water tastes like chemicals. The soda fountain has a filter in it, so it should never taste like tap water. Taste the water at a restaurant to see if it tastes like chemicals. If it does, then every soda they have is contaminated with the built up sludge in an unchanged filter. I used to work in hotels and restaurants and I know how it's...
Read moreI never eat McDonald’s whatsoever anymore. But when I do, I always order my burger without onions so that I can have a fresh burger. This location forgot to remove the onions which is not a big deal. So I go back to the drive-through Window immediately after pulling away to let them know that hey my burger has onions in it. The manager Denzel was summoned to the window ….boy was this guy having a bad day. He Took my burger and said that I would have to pay for another one because I ate some of the burger. Then he tells me I need to get back in line in the drive-through to go pay for another burger because I was holding up his line. He threatened to call the police and actually did call the police because I told him I didn’t wanna leave the line and the line was actually fairly long. He cut me off on everything I was saying. He was not trying to hear anything. He was so rude up until the point I started recording the conversation. At that point, his attitude changed, but still was adamant on not taking care of me. Seriously this is the worst service I’ve ever gotten. There’s something called a drive-through waiting area. He could’ve simply told me to pull up and taken care of me and I would’ve been on my merry way. After a 14 hour shift, I was pretty hungry, which made me actually go to McDonald’s, which was the only thing open. After a 14 hour shift, I had to deal with the managers attitude and pay twice for the meal. I never got a refund and I never got my meal. Some things are just not worth The frustration. I will say that the gentleman who took my order was incredibly nice. Even the people who made the ice cream which the machine was actually working. They were very nice as well. This manager was a prime example on how not to treat a client. Warning stay away from this place save yourself the...
