Update 2 - 12/12/2020. Over two years after my original review the "owner" has responded to my original and update 1 reviews. Here is my reply to the owner. A copy of the original invoice was included with my reply. I have not received a response from the company as of this date. "I have attached a copy of the invoice you were not able to locate. The leather we have is Maverick. There was no mention of it being distressed when we purchased the furniture. On your website it is listed as a protected leather. The furniture didn't look distressed when we received it. Had we known it was going to look distressed we wouldn't have purchased it. We understand normal wear and tear and have no problem with that. I will be happy to send pics or better yet you are welcome to come to our home and see it in person. It might be a real eye opening experience for you. Thank you". Original Review... We purchased a sofa and 2 chairs in 12/2015. Items were delivered in 1/2016. I contacted the company about the color wearing off a chair arm and an irregular seam on a sofa cushion in 1/18. The responses from the sales team at the Buford store were actually quite funny. Although they had never seen anything like this before they were pretty sure it was body oil or body lotion or a cleaning product we used other than the products they supplied us with from the protection plan. The furniture has only been cleaned with the little bottles we received with the protection plan. The best response was a high acid content in my skin. I guess it's only in my left hand since the right arm has no color loss. We were offered arm chair covers at cost. My previous leather chair which is now at our daughters home (2 boys, 2 dogs and 2 adults) shows no signs of the dye wearing off. We believe the problem may have been caused by leather creations stretching the leather too tight. There is only unusual wear on one chair arm. Our rocker, swivel recliner is a very comfortable chair. However when you recline and face the TV the chair slowly spins about 45 degrees so you are no longer looking at the TV. We had them check the chair shortly after delivery. The service rep that came out said the chair was fine. In my opinion based on my experience after 2 years of use the furniture is not worth the price you will pay. There are a lot of options for leather furniture. We bought into the high quality reviews and sales presentation without doing our due diligence. Our daughter purchased a large sectional about 5 years ago with a built in recliner for about half of what we paid for our sofa. Even with the 2 boys and 2 dogs it still looks good. Update1.This is a follow up to my Jan 2018 review. It's now Aug 2020. The dye has now worn off in multiple places on the recliner and on the cushions on our sofa. Clearly there is a problem with the dye used on this particular leather. The frame and other parts might be good quality (I have no way of knowing if they are), but the part people see looks like cheap old furniture. It's a little odd that some people with young kids and pets talk about how great their furniture is. From other reviews it appears as though Leather Creations is aware of the problem. They just choose to pretend like they have never heard of a problem with the dye coming off of their furniture. By the way, in addition to the manufacturers lifetime warranty we bought the 5 year extended warranty. Don't waste your money on Leather Creations extended warranty or on their furniture for that matter. What you get is a giant bag of stuffing so you can re-stuff your furniture as it sags. We have used our bag of stuffing and it is just a very temporary fix. Spending this kind of money for furniture and getting a bag of do it yourself stuffing. That is somewhat of a red flag. Our sofa and recliner look like cheap old worn furniture after 4 1/2 years of two mid 60's people using it. If you want good quality made in USA leather furniture do yourself a favor and...

I am the kind of customer who does my research before selecting a vendor. I wanted a quality couch that would last for decades. I thoroughly vetted all my local leather furniture options and, hands down, Leather Creations won in every measure.
I went into this shopping experience looking at every layer to make sure it was was top notch and found nothing lacking. It boasts superior frame, spring, and cushion construction as well as an impressive collection of premium hides to choose from. From unparalleled warranties to phenomenal customer service and knowledgeable staff. I was thoroughly impressed.
The Showroom in my area had closed before I had been ready to buy. Even so, I'd seen the quality in person while it was open. I was so convinced I wanted a new couch by them that I called up Rob and Greg at the Buford store to help me design my dream couch.
These guys really went above and beyond for me. They sent me countless photos and specs of numerous floor models and hide options. They answered my endless questions. They practically measured every inch of multiple couches for me lol. The process took over a week of back of forth yet they never rushed my decision making. They patiently sent me any info I needed. Whether it be more pics or specs of a different model I was considering. It really was great.
They were also very transparent and detailed with pricing and product details like leather type and different things to consider when choosing a hide. They even mail me swatches to choose from! It helped me feel more confident in the over the phone process. You don't get this kind of service very often.
Any hesitation I had about ordering over the phone was gone after working with Rob and Greg. Thanks guys!
My partner and I are so excited to be getting our new couch in. We count the days till it arrives.

Read moreBuyer beware! We purchased a sofa and recliner from Leather Creations that was delivered late 2017. We paid extra for the highest quality leather that they had available and waited longer in order to get leather from the "best company in the world" that was located in Europe.
Initially I noticed when I used a leather cleaner on the dark spots that were forming the color came off on the cloth so I began using only leather conditioner. By June of 2020, the darkening of the leather was so bad that we were ashamed of the furniture.
I contacted the company and had Kim Every from their service department to call us about our problem. We sent in pictures of our current furniture as well as pictures of the furniture that we had replaced that is now over 12 years old. The next day after wearing a brand new pair of white shoes, I saw that the backs of the shoes had turned pink from the dye coming off the foot of the recliner. I sent Kim this picture as well noting that this was the first pair of white shoes I had purchased in years.
A week goes by and I finally received an email stating that the darkening was from the oils off of our skin and that the conditioner was not one they approved. We have three sets of leather furniture in our home as well as both cars and this only happens with the furniture purchased from Leather Creations. I called Kim back over a week ago and did not hear back from her so I looked up the president of the company so I don't have to tell this story a million times. I have yet to hear back from him even though the person at the Alpharetta location assured me that she would either email or text him my call back information.
Because of this experience, we would never purchase from or recommend Leather Creations to anyone....
