I ordered Mongolian chicken with steamed rice to go. I get it out to the car and look inside to see that it is mostly Mongolian chicken crumbs... But I wasn't angry, I went back inside and told the lady at the register that I'd like to order some more Mongolian chicken, but by itself, just more chicken. She shakes her head no and says that if I wanted more chicken I should have told them I wanted extra before the plate was made, and that I would have to order another plate, sides and all. This is just beyond ridiculous. This place is a restaurant, here to sell food, yet this woman refused to sell me the food I wanted. She could have thrown a few pieces of chicken in a cup and probably made more than the one or two dollars she would have charged me for extra chicken on the plate, and had a happy customer, but instead she refuses to give me what I asked for and was willing to pay for. And absolutely ruined my lunch for today. Waste of money, lack of meat, and ridiculous policies for a RESTAURANT. might report them to chamber of...

I have something to say about Peng's... I have been eating at this restaurant since the very first moment they opened the doors back in the 80's ... the food here has always been top notch , the people working here are exceptional and always polite !! I have absolutely never been disappointed ... once a week I place an order for the crew at work, for the past five years straight & not even the pickiest of people has ever had a single complaint !! I have seen some of the negative reviews on here ... some of things mentioned simply did not happen !! The entire family and the workers there are the most polite and caring people in the business ... when I see a review complaining about being treated poorly, or the food smelling like "ammonia" or small servings ? I call BS to this ... the proof is simply in the parking lot !! To the entire gang at Peng's...Brian, Indira & Kim... simply don't pay any attention to the complainers on google reviews , most of them have an agenda that's very...

This is a great spot for delicious Chinese food in Calhoun! It’s a family-owned restaurant, not a corporate chain, which adds to its charm. At first glance, it may look closed due to the dark tinted windows, but don’t let that fool you. The location is convenient, just off the interstate, with plenty of parking available. The food tastes amazing! Their lunch specials are very affordable and include soup, an egg roll, and a generous portion of your meal. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious, and the food always comes out quickly. The staff is friendly, and the inside is spacious and clean.

Well this restaurant has been a staple here in Calhoun for over 30 years. It is always great to support a local owned place. The staff was very friendly and service wa great, I had a chicken over rice lunch , I did ask for no celery but was informed the vegetables are pre mixed . I also asked about if they did there own potsticker or egg rolls but no they buy SYSCO. Probably the veg mix is from there too. BUT the lunch was very goo and the Hot and Sour soup was fantastic !!!! I will be back this was my first visit.
