Rising Roll Gourmet Cafe' — Restaurant in Georgia

Went for the first time and was greeted by a man that I assumed to be the owner, high energy, very involved with the customers, and answered a few questions about the menu I had. The second time I go to get lunch again, I was greeted by a lady that was the exact opposite. Once again, I had a question about the lunch menu and she was rude while taking my order. Seemed frustrated, short answered, and just overall bothered… to the point I actually said never mind to the order and walked out. I enjoyed the food the first time but refuse to spend money where it’s not appreciated. Hopefully this isn’t the same experience every one else gets, and I’m sure the guy I saw the first time (which I assume as the owner) wouldn’t allow it, just based off my first experience....

If I could give this place more than five stars I would. The people at this cafe are literally so nice. I've never gone to a restaurant to eat and left feeling so wholesome, but they manage to put a smile on our face every time. You can tell they really try their best to accommodate everyone and make you feel welcome when you eat there. That to me is the best part about this Rising Roll ☺️ but the food is also amazing! Everything is freshly made, you get great deals on Saturdays, and the cookies are dang delicious 🤤 if you're looking for a low cost and healthy lunch don't hesitate...

I was in the area so I decided to make a stop at Rising Roll. Used to work in Duluth years ago and loved this place. The closest one to me is midtown and they're closed on weekends. Anyhow, I tried the curry chicken salad.....delicious! Ended up getting a pound of the regular chicken salad to bring home and a curry chick salad sandwich to go. Added some chips and a drink and I was happy! The couple that own it were very gracious and kind. I guess because I bought so much, he added in a brownie. I love businesses that know how to make you come back!...
