So this is my second visit to this location. First visit being two weeks prior and they were out of my favorite chicken salad so I ended up driving to Roswell because I love chicken salad that much. This is the third location Iāve visited and the only one I wouldnāt give 5 stars to. The two stars come from the chicken salad still being delicious or else it would be 0. Iām big on customer service and as a human being I feel it is polite to speak to a customer when they enter your establishment regardless of you being the one to help them or not. Three employees made eye contact but only one spoke and thatās who took our order, Hannah Mae was very helpful throughout our entire encounter just to let that be known. She took our order and was very polite. My wife ordered her chicken salad with bacon and no tomatoes on it. When it made it to our table it had tomatoes on it but no bacon. My wife also ordered Mac n cheese which is of course extra so we paid for it. We were then informed afterwards that they were out of macaroni so she took broccoli salad instead. I went back up to let them know the order was incorrect and I simply asked, āIs the broccoli salad extra also because we were charged for the macaroni and Iām just curious.ā Hannah Mae says sheāll get her manager for a refund. Hannah Mae said her name fast so Iām not sure what exactly her name was but sounded like Rakeela or something like that. Mind you that my intentions were to just get my wifeās meal corrected and I didnāt want any money back was just asking if the macaroni and broccoli were the same price since I paid for macaroni and didnāt get it. Pure curiosity. Manager then comes out rudely from the beginning and says, āHe paid for a side and we gave him a side.ā Hannah Mae says, āYeah but the macaroni is extraā and the manager says something along the lines of okay but he asked for a side so give him $.50. Iām like I donāt want the money back I was just asking a question. Then I try showing my receipt of bacon and no tomatoes which she wonāt even look at she just grabs my food and puts it in the window telling the employee in back to make it again. Hannah Mae looks over my receipt and recognizes that she did put no tomato on there and add bacon. She apologizes and says sheāll bring it right out. I watch the employee in the back roll her eyes and grab the plate to remake. As the manager never once displayed any affection towards me the customer. Not even an apology. How hard is recognizing a mistake and saying hey Iām sorry let me make this over for you and we apologize, and yes or no the broccoli salad isnāt an additional charge, would you like a refund or is there anything else I can do for you. Give me the opportunity to make you aware that it was never about the 50 cents but the fact that I wasnāt made aware of the lack of an item until after purchase. Thatās like me ordering and paying for a Big Mac and then you bring my food and say we didnāt have a Big Mac so we gave you chicken nuggets for the same price. End of the story is the manager here is rude and not customer friendly whatsoever. Iāll continue eating chicken salad chick at other locations. 4 stars for the food and 0 stars for management to average out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDifficult location to find for the first time, but MAN were these guys incredible. There were a couple people in line ahead of me, which I was thankful for as this was my first time visiting the establishment and this gave me a few minutes to look over the prominently placed menu as I was waiting my turn. But I only had so much time to marvel over how many options! the menu gives you before a friendly young man behind a counter informed me that he could take my order, if I was ready. I decided to ask him about the menu. He proceeded to go through the basic menu, combo choices, and even daily specials in a simple, efficient, knowledgeable manner that helped first-time eyes be not so overwhelmed. (Did you know you can make any scoop of chicken saladāthere are FLAVORS by the wayāa sandwich for NO EXTRA CHARGE??) Throughout my visit, interactions with the staff were warm, welcoming, and wholly worthwhile. My food was out in no time, and the experience in the STORE was a delight, you can imagine how the food tastes. Iām not normally a soup person, but I could eat a TUB of this loaded potato and chicken florentine!! I got the classic chicken salad, as a sandwich, on toasted wheat bread. I opened what, at the time, was a comically large box for just a sandwich, and there was a whole MEAL waiting for me! The sandwich, which I was expecting, crackers, a pickle (which I donāt like, but it looked so good I took a bite anyway! I still donāt like pickles...), and a frosted cookie!! And letās talk about the sandwich for a sec: I got it without lettuce or tomato, but they were offered to me for the same price. What I wanted was just some good, classic, chicken saladāexactly what Iāve been craving. And oh boy, did Chicken Salad Chick deliver. And somehow, these sandwich crafters have designed a form so flawless so that when you smush the bread to take a bite, the excess filling goes into your mouth instead of falling out of the sides of the bread, giving the consumer fuller bites and less spillage and mess. These people hold my heart. If I could give them more than five stars, I would in an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreConsistently banging food with very polite workers that A: keep the place clean stocked and organized well, and B: that keep a good pace with at times pretty punishing rushes during lunch and dinner. Whether I'm picking up doordash orders or eating personally the workers here are always on point.
As far as how much your dollar gets you here, the chick trio is three of either scoops or one of the sides; that, a large drink, and a fair tip is about 20 dollars, and you're given a pickle, crackers, and pleasant little cookie complimentary. I'd say the chick was enough for two meals for me (M "6'4 240lbs) and the rest of the meal items will run you one good meal for about the same price. The scoops will be bigger than the sides/salads/cups of soup, but it might surprise you how well it can balance out your meal :)
Everything's good, but the chicken salad, egg salad, and pimento cheese are always always on point. It's impossible to get correct pimento cheese and this place is the closest I can find in Vining's.
I'll take a point away for atmosphere, because it always seems like a manager in the back or a customer in the front is getting aggressive or dripping with angry confrontational vibes, and the atmosphere can get a little tense!
Overall excellent spot to go any time...
