We have become regulars since when they just opened & didn’t even have their beverage license. It is the best, fresh, hot food made to order. Their pizzas are so good baked in the authentic pizza ovens. We have loved it since day one. This is quality pizza with a great crust & isn’t limp or too crispy. The dough is great. The toppings are great. So many places now only put the sauce & cheese & toppings in the very center leaving a 3-4” wide crust area with is then only 30% of the pizza & the other 70% crust. E’ke does it the way it should be. I’ve had both salads. They are equally tasty but different the tossed vinaigrette salad has spinach & a mix of arugula & mixed greens with a few shaved carrot pieces & a tasty vinegarette that isn’t too sour. Their Caesar is with romaine & croutons & cheese & their own delicious homemade Caesar dressing. The sandwiches are incredible. We don’t even eat lunch out but have made several trips for lunch because it is truly that good! They bake the sandwich bread in that same brick oven they bake pizzas in. It is over the top fantastic. I don’t know anywhere else that makes their bread for fresh warm made to order sandwiches in a pizza oven! Our favorite is the Burratta & prosciutto and arugula sandwich. Sorry for having already taken a bite out of it. My husband had the other ½ of the sandwich. We got pizza to...
Read moreThis cozy little pizza and pasta place has definitely surprised us on more than one occasion. We'd had pizza 3 or 4 times before, but were recommended to try the lasagna when we came back. And we did. and the pictures say the story. Although there are different types of lasagna preferences, I appreciate one that is rich and generous in pasta, sauce, meat, and cheese. The pictures tell you everything you need to know. Best lasagna I've had in about 9 years. As you can see, it comes in a bowl, so this isn't the slice of lasagna that maintains its shape when you cut it. Instead, it's indulgent and the bread was wonderful. It reminded me of my favorite pasta place back home and if you like this type of lasagna, that's bubbly, comes in a bowl, and will leave you plenty satisfied, give it a go. Service was extremely friendly and attentive without smothering us and like I said, we've had pizza before and it's always delivered. Mind you, this is thin, crispy, brick over style pizza, where you have less cheese and sauce than many chain restaurants because the ingredients and the base do the main talking. Have also tried the tiramisu, which was also pretty good. Overall, good price, casual so you don't have to get dressed super fancy, and if you like lasagnas like the one picture, then have at it. Will be going back much more often after...
