I won a $100 gift card to Germantown Hub last year. The gift card had no expiration. I went last week to purchase multiple protein powders and healthy meal powder (My total would have been well over $200). I gave them my gift card to use for part of the total. I was told the gift card would not "swipe" or "work" with the new card system they have now because there has been a new owner since I won the gift card. I was told I would not be able to use my $100 gift card. I told the sweet girl working that was unacceptable since the card has no expiration, so I would love to speak with the new owner. Getting a new card system should have nothing to do with my gift card, especially when I was still going to be spending over $100 of my money for 1 transaction. I was told the new owner would call me. Never got a call. The right thing to do would have been honor my gift card. I realize the card "wouldn't swipe" with the new system, but they could have easily deducted $100 from my total. Read moreI went there and ordered a fruity pebble shake, and told them i had a severe peanut allergy so I needed mine made in the “allergy blender”. They said no problem, and I got my shake and went on my way. I had not even gotten 10 minutes down the road and had to pull over into the ER because I was having an allergic reaction. Despite me telling them about my severe peanut allergy they still put PB Fit (peanut butter protein powder) in my shake. When I called to let them know, they just said “sorry, but for future reference we do have an allergy blender” well that does no good if you still put the allergen in my drink... There is also nothing on the menu that denotes any of their shakes has peanut butter in it unless that is the explicit flavor. How am i supposed to know a shake like “fruity pebbles” has peanut butter in it if there is nothing to indicate it? I thought it was just me but after the reading the reviews I am not alone. I went here yesterday at the recommendation of my nail technician. The girl that waited on me was the flat out cold and rude. No greeting, smile, or anything. I asked for recommendations about the shakes she answered the question but nothing else. I didn’t think much about it until she took my card swiped it, sat the iPad down with my card on top of it, proceeded to walk off and go back and start chatting with the group of workers at the end of the counter.
