Read moreI hadn't been to a KFC in years but I had a hankering. Did not find the staff member who assisted us friendly whatsoever. I saw this $5 dollar box with 2 chicken sandwiches and asked what was on them, to which she replied in a way that sounded as if it was being preceded with a "duh" and ending with an eyeroll. Oh well I thought...keep on ordering, could hardly wait for the biscuit I was going to order. My fiancee and I ordered 2 of those baskets with extra sauce on the chicken sandwiches. After my card payment processed, she put our soda cups on the counter and they seemed rather small for the thirst we had and the drive ahead of us was about 200 miles. I asked if it was possible to upgrade in size. Her reply? No. It's too late. You already paid. I asked what the difference was in price, I would pay the difference. She said that it was too late to get a different size but if it hadn't been too late it would've been only .50 cents. But it's too late she re-stated. I stood there in shock... really? Truly? Wow. She simply walked off. Hmm. The little potato wedges that came with it were yummy... though the chicken sandwiches were awful. They were overcooked and very dry and hard. The extra sauce we asked for on them was near nonexistent. Looked as if it was light sauce in my opinion. We both only ate half of one of our sandwiches. Would've been alot easier to swallow with a larger beverage. Not saying better but maaaybe manageable. Biscuit was ok, though no way near filling. Horrid service, horrid chicken. There was a guy who answered and I gave him two possible names that the order would’ve been under (not knowing if it was under my mom’s name or mine). He told me he would get it gathered up and bring it out. 25 minutes later, still no sign of anyone. I try to call back several times and the line is giving me a busy signal. We drove around to the drive thru and asked them about the online order. They told us they didn’t have any online orders so I check with my mom to confirm, she must not have clicked the “place order” button online. So we go ahead and order our $30 fill up and extra biscuits. I asked the young lady at the window why we were told by a man that it would be out shortly if there was never an order. She kind of just stood there awkward. I told her it would’ve been nice if we would’ve been told there was no online order when I first called, so we didn’t sit out front for 25 minutes. Then I told her their phone line was busy or off the hook. She said, sorry, we will get that taken care of for you. It’s frustrating to me that this guy did absolutely nothing to let us know there was no order for us. It’s like he left the phone off the hook to avoid us calling back.
