Point Fosdick Square — Local services in Gig Harbor

Went to the movie theater there to see a movie in their luxury IMAX theater. We purchased our tickets online the day before, but when we got there the next day April 30th. They printed our tickets and it was for the next day May 1st. Once the manager was available, we showed her our recipe. I said to her I hope we don't miss the beginning of the movie. She just said oh I don't know how that happened and giggled. The employee taking the tickets overhead me and says oh you still have 5min of previews, so you didn't miss anything. He shouldn't of said that because he obviously didn't know what he was talking about, because the movie had already started. It was very frustrating, because of their error we missed the beginning of the movie and they didn't seem to care. This was our first time at that theater and after paying almost $40 for the movie and seeing the staff didn't care, it was not a good...

This is a shopping center - not a specific business. Google needs to search, "Get a clue" and follow the advice found therein. But I digress. The parking lot is clean, well lit & maintained. There is a noticeable lack of sufficient disabled parking spaces, less than legally required by our count. There should really be a stronger security presence, especially when the occasional tweeker shows up and starts harassing customers. There are a variety of shopping options, a grocery store, great theater, and restaurants. With the notable exception of Lunchbox Laboratory (which we have sworn never to return to) and the hopelessly overpriced cookies & donuts, we have been happy with every business we have...

Point Fosdick Square covers about 3 blocks along Point Fosdick Drive south of Olympic Drive. The square is from Kohl's to Safeway Grocery Store. You have a Nail Salon, Orange Theory Fitness and a few places to grab a bite.

Next door southbound is the Uptown Marketplace for the outdoor shopping mall and Movie Theater + Imax. You really can't notice the dividing line between plazas, because the interior driveways allow you to shimmy from north to south without going on the main road. Plenty of choices for dining. Casual and a little upscale. Parking is never full and 4 vehicle charging stations are near 9Round Fitness. A great way to get your steps in to walk along...
