One of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a while. I made a $200+ order to be delivered, and when it arrived, an item was missing (the complimentary bread). I understand that happens, so I called the store to have them send it, and they flat out refused to do anything about it because it's complimentary. I told her that it still caused a significant inconvenience for me as I would now need to go running to the store to get bread for everyone’s sandwiches. She didn’t seem to care at all, so I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were too busy. I told them I would wait on hold until they were not busy. She put me on hold for 30 seconds, and the manager still refused to come to the phone, and the girl I was talking to promised me they would take my number and have the manager call me. Can anyone guess if the manager ever called me to make it right? You guessed it. Not a word after 48 hours. I was not trying to game the system, I had already paid for my food, and instead of doing the right thing to make it right (Like actually sending someone to bring the missing item, or perhaps offering a small credit on for next order) they just show that they truly don’t care about their customers.

And frankly, the food was mediocre at best . . .

You can believe I will never set foot in that store again. They will never get a dime from me, and I will make it my mission to dissuade anyone I know from ever patronizing that place again. Y'all screwed up big time, and they need to learn how to run a business appropriately with actual...

The overall experience was pretty disappointing. My wife and I spent $35 in total for our meals. The sides were very good (beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and green chili soup), as they were full of flavor. But the main courses is what made my wife and I really disappointed. I got brisket, and was mind blown with how dry it was. It seemed like no matter how much sauce I used, the dryness wouldn't change. It was really disappointing as the meat wasn't cheap. My wife got ribs and her ribs were dry and cold. Its a shame because I've been to bbq places like caldwells where it's the same price as Rudy's, but the meat and sides are amazing, without any dryness, and full of flavor. We got some pickles on the side and they were not good (tasted really off and somehow, they were dry).

My last concern is the reviews I read. I've read many reviews for Rudy's that were the same problem as ours, and yet no response from the company or owner. The silent treatment for issues that constantly pop up is sad and unprofessional, and shows to their customers they really don't care.

I'm heading to caldwells next time. The food is so moist, it falls...

I must say, I was BLOWN AWAY by Rudy's... So, first, I walked in and the young lady at the counter walked me through everything with a smile, got in line and was helped by someone who almost looked like he was running from the back to help me (gotta love service that makes you feel not just appreciated but wanted as a customer), he loaded me up with samples and suggestions and the food was amazing! I got 2 meats 1/2 pound of brisket and 1/4 pound pork loin and together that was cheaper than other places for 1 half pound of brisket so yeah, love the prices and the meat was sooo good! Loved the Turkey my wife ordered, ended up eating some of her food also! I have been telling people to go to another places around here because I thought it was the best place for que but from this moment on, my advise on good que in the Valley has changed to Rudy's, not just because it is cheaper and the food is better but because the service was awesome and welcoming.. If you have experienced the eye rolls and sighs that is have eating out, getting service like this is deeply appreciated!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD...

We tried the baby back ribs, brisket, baby back ribs, turkey, jalapeño cheddar smoked wiener, cream corn, beans and their jalapeños/carrots, dill pickles and tomatillos from the garnish cart. Everything was great. The crew was very helpful and friendly. Sorry, to my “Famous” friend “Dave” but this place just jumped ahead on the Texas BBQ list. Brisket was good and tasty. Babybacks were juicy and tender. Like butter in the mouth. The turkey was moist, tasty and it held the white oak smoke flavor. Other than the BABYBACK RIBS… the super start was the cream corn. That corn was like a desert that was silky smooth. The Rudy’s beans would make ya slap the “Wilbur Beans” out ya mouth and stick a big spoon of Rudy’s beans in its place. The garnish cart nibbles are perfect pairing for the meal. Plus.. cans of LoneStar beer. Looking forward to putting some more of Rudy’s meat inside me.

As you can see from my history, I do a lot of barbecue. I am from from Alabama, so my standards are high, but this was the worst barbecue I've had in a very long time! The moist brisket that I paid $3 more for, was not only lean it was very dry. They only have 2 barbecue sauces. The Sissy sauce is not very good at all, it tastes like the base is ketchup and the other sauce is acceptable only because it's the only other choice. The slaw was not very good, it has some weird taste almost like a cleaning chemical but the chili green was pretty good. When I went to the front order counter to make sure I ordered moist instead of lean, the kid cleaning up the tables took my food. He had it all bunched up together, piled on each other, ready to take it and when he realized I wasn't leaving he put it back on the table for me to continue eating. He did apologize though.

Our dining experience started off great with great customer service. After we received our food, got our drinks and got our two children situated with their food. We were asked to leave the premises due to management. They told us to grab our stuff get out because their arming the alarm at 4:20 in the afternoon on Sunday. They said the manager walked out and quit. There was two young ladies who were very helpful with us and we're helping us get our children's food wrapped up. But the rest of the employees were extremely rude telling us to grab our stuff and leave and get out. One man in particular. I asked for boxes and he told me there's paper and bags so wrap up your food and go. Not a very good representation of staff or management /ownership.
