Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Gilroy

An honest review... I am not sure when it became ok for people to treat the staff at fast food restaurants like they are your servants or your slaves but its pretty discouraging to see folks treated this way.. Here's what appears went wrong.. Someone ordered food and when they arrived it wasn't ready so they waited.. I, and multiple others ordered their food and then left or sat down.. This person became irate because they didn't have their food. They then started treating the staff with Disrespect and all while carrying a tone of disgust with them.. I felt pretty bad for the staff who began to scurry to accommodate the person. It never occurred to me outright whether the mishap was the customers fault or the staff.. But it seemed to me the customer was more to blame. Either way why treat the staff like that? Kudos to the staff for handling the issue with professionalism and keeping their composure.. You are obviously not paid enough to deal with that disrespect... What could have been done better.. In the customers defense someone should have noticed a single customer standing around for quite a bit of time waiting for something. This Chipotle seems to frequently run out of supplys.. Maybe some people don't know this but, not all avocados are equal, nor do they deserve equal residency in the guacamole.. Someone should be around to easily satisfy these kind of customers with either some type of free burrito or something.. if Starbucks can do it so can you! That would have helped I think.

What was done excellently. Staff remained courteous and respectful.. Environment was clean and orderly. Line was processed efficiently and quickly. In defense of the staff it could have been difficult to see the waiting customer they were all busy..

I love this place and its Team!! No matter what is happening outside in this world they are always on top of everything!! Food, service, accommodation, fast response and meal preparing!! I've been their customer for a while already and never ever felt disappointed!!!

The food is always fresh and warm, the place is extremely clean including the bathroom, all COVID-19 precautions are top-notch (you can definitely feel safe there and yes - there are 3 customers at a time allowed, but hey it's for our safety and comfort - nothing to complain at all!!) and the Staff... I barely can find words to express how happy I am seeing them every weekend or so, but these Guys working hard and with their biggest smiles out there (you can notice that even they wear their masks :) ) deserve more than just only one sentence!!

So let me tell you - I'm very picky if it's about my food and I always separate the ingredients - yup crazy me!! - and these Guys are always so patient with me handling my order like a champs every single time!! They have a rotation there, so not every single time I meet same ppl, but if I do, they already know what I need and only ask if there are any changes in my order - no? then I have my food ready in the way I like in a seconds!! How cool is that!!! And even there is someone new, he/she is always patient, kind and very professional - like the "old" Crew!! Hats off!!

So if you are looking for a place to stop by and get a Mexican food (even just ordering at the counter and eating at home like we do), if you care about the service and you like to get it fast from extremely friendly Staff - this is definitely the place to go!!

My daughter ordered a meal for my family on my behalf. It was supposed to be a carnitas bowl, a chicken salad, and two chicken quesadillas. Unfortunately, we had an extremely disappointing experience. 3 of the 4 meals were completely wrong. The carnitas bowl had no rice, even though it was supposed to. Both quesadilla orders came with a single tortilla, meatless (chicken was on the side for some reason), and the sides were wrong. One chicken quesadilla was supposed to have corn salsa, red salsa, and rice, and came with a tiny amount of rice, exactly 3 corn kernels, and the chicken on the side. The other chicken quesadilla (folded wrong, practically no cheese) was supposed to have corn salsa, rice, and beans, and came with no salsa, but the chicken on the side. This was disappointing to witness, especially since the entire order was correctly printed on the box and receipt. To add on to this, the order was 20 minutes late (was supposed to be 7:15, came out 7:35). My family and I eat frequently at Chipotle, and we haven't experienced an order misshap as bad as this before. We hope that this doesn't happen again, as this is normally our favorite...
