Burger King — Restaurant in Glendale Heights

Ok... This place was closed for a LONG time for renovations... So when we saw that it was FINALLY open, we decided to try it.

The inside was filthy. The soda machine was filthy inside the area you set your cup to dispense the drink and all down the front. Now, the place had only been open 5-6 days... Really?!?!?

The flooring behind the counter was the old flooring, and just dirty all over the floor back there where they make the food, and one metal counter in the back had a section of plywood set underneath it. It looked really bad.

We ordered kids meals and I said to my kids that the toy was going to be a Nerf toy... The associate behind the counter didn't say anything. They were out of the PB n J Jamwhich... they just opened! He offered us to purchase two cookie's for a dollar after our meal orders. Then when we got the meals... No toy with the meals. The associate said they didn't have any, but they gave us free cookies. He didn't think to tell us that when we ordered that they didn't have the Nerf toys?!?!?

The food... The fries were way too salty. There were no pickles on my Whopper Jr, which was the saddest looking Whopper Jr I've ever seen in my life, one tiny tomato, a sprinkle of lettuce... My kids had bigger sandwiches with their double cheeseburger "King Jr" meals. Now, I didn't expect a huge sandwich in the first place, after all I ordered the whopper Jr, but this was just ridiculous. And... The onion rings tasted like they were a day old.

Really really disappointed... Won't be going back unless we hear from others or neighbors that this place...

Made the mistake of going back to this location. Asked them to make a fresh burger and of course they didn't. I go in all the time because of this problem with these kind of places. I watched them make a sandwich out of the burger bin and set it in the rack. I turned my back for a couple of seconds and when I turned around the order was in front of me. I asked if the sandwich was made fresh because I didn't see them do it. She went to the person who makes the sandwiches and she swore it was freshly made. I drove home which is a ride from the location. And when I got home I found out that it wasn't only make fresh but totally wrong. I'm tired of the stupidly and laziness out of this location. I will NEVER!!!! Go back there again. They give Burger King a bad rep. Whatever happened to special orders don't upset us. SO DON'T GO THERE!!!! go...

I would have given a zero if I could. When we walked in there was no one at the counter and the cashier asked if we could wait a minute to order. After we chatted with him a bit, we finally asked what the hold up was. He said that the lady next to him was using the cash register for inventory. She was putting orange juice containers on the shelf one at a time and I cannot possibly imagine anyone doing it any slower. Occasionally she stopped to wiped one off and inspect it. She was making us wait while she put every... single... carton... slowly... away. When we announced that we were leaving, she suddenly decided that he could use the cash register to take our order, even tho she wasn’t done! Hmmm... We will never go to...
