I am NEVER and when I mean NEVER one to complain or to write reviews I mean it, today while walking around Westgate after eating I always enjoy walking in this store, honestly something I can never leave without seeing. However, I did know the store closes at 10pm, I was aware that when I entered it was around 10-10:7pm, when I entered the store I had no intentions to buy anything just to walk around the store or maybe buy something that catches my eye but it is rare because of the prices, when I walked in with the small group of people I was with, the cashier on the right when you walk in, after about 4 seconds, she had quite a bad attitude about the store being closed, not to mention once she was done saying that, she didn’t necessarily give us a dirty look but smirked and I’m not one to care but I genuinely felt like the employee didn’t have right tone to speak to those who hope or want to walk into the store, we all go through things, but the attitude that was given was honestly not it. A little detail I did not mention was, there was at least 10 or maybe more customers in that store walking around and taking their time which is why I thought it wouldn’t hurt to walk around and then leave because nothing was said to them, overall i could care less of how i’m talked to but that isn’t a way on how to speak to anyone at all when there are plenty of other customers in the store doing the same thing I...
Read moreGrowing up in Glendale Westgate has always been a great place to spend time with the family. Now that I have a family of my own I thought it would be a great day to get out and walk around with the kids. It’Sugar was one of the many stops we made today and sadly the worst experience. When we entered the store there was no greeting, mind you it was a little busy so I get that it may slip the mind sometimes. However, the courtesy of a simple acknowledgment would have been nice. That being said I allowed for my son to get the candy of his choice and when we had questions there was no one to help. I had come to find out that a young lady in a pink shirt was the one working. It was hard to identify her at first and after being met with a short and standoffish attitude it was hard to believe that she was an employee at all. The final straw was that there was no one on register when we got ready to go, and when she finally appeared she had rolled her eyes at my son who had insisted on paying himself. In the five years I have been going to this location I have never had a more disappointing and unpleasant experience. My son is just a child and the attitude was not necessary all people go through things but children are innocent. I truly hope that this employee can learn human decency a...
Read moreMy mother took my son there yesterday, and as they were going in the mat at the entrance of the store was l lifted up and he ended up falling and hurting his wrist. The employee there had no empathy whatsoever. She did not try to help she did not try to make it better. All she said was I’ll tell my manager but that was once my mom told her that they need to fix that entranceway. my son woke up today with his wrist hurting. I called the store and asked for a manager and whoever answered the phone had no idea how to treat the situation it has no customer service experience because the way she was answering questions made no sense. I asked her to take a message for the manager and all she said was OK. She did not ask for my number she did not ask for my name until I told her and she said oh, let me get a pen. This is ridiculous. My son hurt his hand, his wrist and they did not care the people that work there. I need to have more compassion or try to make it better. I will be taking him in the morning to get an x-ray, and if there is something they will definitely hear...
