This is for the Glendale Galleria location.
At 6:40pm (Friday 2/21/25) we decided to stop by to order four chicken plates. Upon arrival, the restaurant had maybe 10 guests dining in. I walked up to the counter where the GM (dressed in black, tall and on the stocky side) and two other waiters (one short female and tall gentleman). I stood for a solid 5-7min and never once was greeted, acknowledged or asked to give them a minute. Again, they were NOT busy! it wasn't as if they didn't see me, my mother and daughter as he looked right at me. After almost 10min standing there waiting for my order to be taken, I decided to walk out. All which this GM watched. I placed an order at a different food location in the mall and when i went back to ask for his name, he had the audacity to act as if he didn't have a clue And tried to a 100% gaslight me as if he did not see me, I was the only person (African American- not that it should matter) standing in front of him and he looked me dead in my face and so did the other 2 people. The number one rule in any food establishment is to have customer service. If you don't have customer service, that's how you lose customers. .The Panini kebab grill is and always will be one of my favorite restaurants as I used to go almost every other week since you've opened at this location. In fact, there was a manager there. He was a little short. I would say maybe 5'6 or 5'7 in height. He had glasses and he used to work at the cheesecake factory. That gm showed what customer service was about. Whenever I would go to that location, he remembered my name, always greeted me. Remembered the items that I like to order for my family. But if this is the type of service that I I'm going to be receiving from now on, I will not be going there.. it was...
Read moreHey there! I tried lunch at Panini Kabob Grill and sadly, it wasn't the best experience. Let's find another spot together next time! I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. The service wasn't friendly and lacking in customer etiquette. The waitress didn't greet me or introduce herself. I thanked the waitress for the drink but she never replied . Waited for food for 30 minutes. Only 3 customers inside, 1 on patio - see the photos. I feel a bit frustrated waiting so long for my food. I feel that the restaurant seems overstaffed with staff just chatting behind the instead of attending to their customers. I observed the restaurant wasn't busy as expected, with only a few customers. Instead of checking on diners, staff were behind the counter chatting. Another server served my food. The flat iron steak skewer looked so appetizing. I thanked the server but she also didn’t acknowledge that I thanked her. So halfway to my meal until I finished having my lunch no one came to ask how was the food or if they can get me desserts. I even have to get up to go to the register to pay for my meal as no one came to give me my tab. I honestly didn’t to give a star cause I feel that they deserve a negative star. Other than the service the food was tasty and delicious. I have been to one of their location in Downtown LA right across FDAM. You should try them. The quality of service...
Read moreI’ve been a longtime fan of Panini Kabob Grill—the chicken is hands down the best in the neighborhood, even better than Raffi’s in my opinion. The food is consistently A+, and the service is always excellent.
That said, I’ve stopped coming as since the relocation. I’m sure there were logistical reasons behind the move, but the new location just doesn’t have the same vibe. I loved sitting outdoors and enjoying a nice view, but now it’s a parking garage with trash everywhere, which takes away from the experience.
I truly hope this reaches the owner because I know the food and service deserve a better atmosphere. A little effort could make a big difference—pressure washing the sidewalks, cleaning up the exterior, and maybe even working with the Galleria to add a mural or some greenery against the face of garage would go a long way.
At the end of the day, while I love the food, it’s hard to justify spending $250+ on a family meal while feeling like I’m in a Third World country . I hope some improvements can be made because I’d love to keep...
