At Glendale Galleria's food court, and I've always ignored La Vaca because to me it was always overshadowed by big names like Panda Express and Chipotle, until I became curious. La Vaca was a surprise. The lone staff member knew it was my first time and helped me out; as it turned out, they have a system that was weight-based.
First, you can pick out items from the salad bar and put them into a clear plastic container. For myself, I had the Farfalle pesto pasta, the Brazilian rice, and a variety of vegetables. After that, I moved on to the meats, all of which had been roasted ; I had the sirloin, the garlic chicken, and sausages. My conclusion is that La Vaca is severely underrated; when I ate their food, I couldn't forget how delicious they were.
I highly recommend La Vaca because of how simply good and varied...

We knew that food was being charged per pound, but when my friend requested for meat on her plate, the guy cutting the meat gave her all the pieces that were burned and had fat on it. She asked politely for a different piece of meat without so much fat and they responded, “Oh, you’re going to get fat anyway. It’s so little so we’re not going to change it.” Her total was over $30 and she only asked for a few slices anyway.
We didn’t want to cause a scene so we paid for the food, but we were super upset with the refusal to change the slices of meat if the plate costs so much. The guy couldn’t even give a singular piece that didn’t have the burned parts and fat. Super disappointed with this place and will not be...
Read moreThere is nothing Brazilian about this place, other than that they sell Guarana soda, but I would doubt they've ever seen the actual fruit. Even the name is insult, it's in Spanish!! Who opens a Brazilian restaurant and gives it a Spanish name?? That makes absolutely no sense. Portuguese is spoken in Brazil. If anything they should call it "A Vaca" at least. If you love Brazil, do not go here. If you're indifferent to Brazil, please go somewhere else because this is not at all a representation of...
