I recently dined at this fantastic Persian restaurant, Shamshiri, and was thoroughly impressed. The menu boasts a wide variety of authentic Persian dishes, including the flavorful Ahe-E-Must, Ash-E-Joe, and the renowned Ash-E-Reshteh. For vegetarian diners, there are plenty of delectable entrée options available that are sure to satisfy.
Shamshiri is a welcoming family restaurant known for its generous portion sizes that are perfect for sharing. In addition to their regular menu, they offer daily specials and lunch specials, adding even more variety to the dining experience.
The food itself was a delightful culinary experience, bursting with flavor in every bite. The entrees, which range from $16.99 to about $20.00 per plate on average, offer great value for the quality and portion sizes provided. The service was top-notch, with attentive and efficient staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with ample space for guests to enjoy their meal al fresco. An added bonus is that they welcome pets in the outdoor seating area, making it a great spot for pet owners to dine with their furry companions.
Overall, Shamshiri is a gem of a restaurant that excels in both its cuisine and service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy delicious Persian fare in a warm and inviting setting at a reasonable...
Read moreThis place is a total disaster. Please save yourself from a bad experience because Persian cuisines are usually known for their hospitality and great customer service. However, this place is quite the opposite, there were four of us at the table and they brought us a very small piece of cheese we then ask them whether or not they had anymore, and they brought us another very small piece without even answering the question on whether or not they have any we can get and they charged us $12 for it (for just a little piece of cheese !!) both pieces weren’t enough for even two people. The quality of the food was absolutely horrible. We as Persians have had many Persian dishes across different restaurants in the US and this is by far the worst one. Servers attitude was absolutely mean they even kept on staring at us as we were having our lunch then they asked us whether or not we are from there and once we told them that we’re visiting from Atlanta, they then gave us a dirty look and said that this is LA and this is how we operate here !! I do not recommend anyone to visit this restaurant because I know that you guys...
Read moreIn total I will give 4.5 stars. Service was great, atmosphere is nice and fantastic music from the duo, make sure they are protected because they were dropping bangers all night. Fesen Joon was one of the best I've ever had, it was the exact mix of sweet and sour which most Persian restaurants can never get right. The Jujeh was also very tasty and done right. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is the main staple of all Persian cuisine, the Koobideh kebab was very average. This was not a beef/lamb mixture, it was just beef which can still be tasty, but it just didn't match up to the other dishes. Might consider having a few different cuts of meat ground up?? I don't know. I know food costs matter so I'm not hating at all, and I still enjoyed it. If someone wasn't Persian they would probably like it if there was nothing to compare too. But for the real ones out there, the ones that know, it doesn't meet expectations. All in all, it was great meal and I would...
