Well I went into Shane's today and ordered 2 big dads sandwiches and thought it would be a combo but now there is no combos and they charge for every side separately $2.99 and drinks are also separate too! Very over priced I spent $56 on two sandwiches and 2 sides and a kids tenders meal which also didn't come with a drink so had to purchase also . Ok and here was the topper for this kind of money for a lunch I would expect my potato salad to taste like it was just made its the same potato salad from Walmart in the container also the mac an cheese was the same way bland tasted like it came out of a frozen bag . The bread on both sandwiches was a sponge full of butter not toasted . This food used to be great 2 to 3 years ago and everything was perfect. Sorry its the truth . I hope the real owner of the franchise does a surprise visit. Wow just wow
👏 editing my review i guess now that my order was looked at by someone from store , #1 my receipt does not tell me anything I ordered so I can't even tell what I ordered as in kids meal adult meal or anything for that matter , #2. I came in with a small child and told the person at the desk my son would like a kids meal she gave me a 3 piece tender with frys and I asked her if the "kids meal " came with a drink she said no so yes there was clarification it was for a child . #3Your employees clearly can't tell the difference between a 8 year old and a adult or they were not properly trained to use the system on that note . And the customers receipt should have the items paid for on it so if there is a problem for the 15 or 20 minutes waiting on the food we could look over the receipt and possibly catch the issue.

Read moreI go to this place often and I normally have no complaints, BUT after today, I don’t think I would go back. Some friends and I placed an order online and I called to see if they can change my fries to onion rings because it does NOT give you that option online. I called literally TWO min after playing my order. I placed it at 7:20 and it said it would be ready at 7:45pm. But when I called I was told they didn’t have more order and I placed it at a wrong location. I pulled up my email on my phone and confirmed it was the right location. The lady on the phone then gave the phone to the manager without informing me she was getting off the phone. When I spoke with the manager (now 5 min with being on the phone) she also said she doesn’t have my order and kept telling me she was right and I was wrong. Not ONCE did she apologize for the inconvenience. I then asked if I can place my order over then phone and that I was almost there be and my break was only 30 min. She said “you can place an order when you get here, we aren’t that busy” when we got there it was a long line. I went to the from fontier and was told my order was already being made ( but on the phone they didn’t have the order) when I got there I told them I wanted onion rings instead of fries and paid the $1 up charge. It’s not 7:56pm I get my food and they have me sweet potato fries and not onion rings. I’m now really frustrated because I have to be back at school by 8 and I always paid and now have to wait for the correct order. Not ONCE during my visit did they apologize for their mistake. Read moreIf I could put it at zero I would. So let me explain what happened here... Recently one of my co-workers came into your location and had a bad customer service experience. The managers there did not want to help, they refuse to take responsibility for their employees actions and gave her a hard time. She has reached out to the corporate office and apparently this is a company wide problem. From the top down the customer service has been terrible.
Our food was not ready on time, we went through the site and she was told that the site was not accurate. So, dont use the site if you want your food to be timely. She was told two different time when the order was received and when all was said and done, one of the orders of food was wrong. No apologies....no offer to help us and she was told by a manager that he was not authorized to comp. anything. AND no one has bothered to reach out to her after being told to contact corporate. ALSO, I see many reviews where this has happened to other customers. The excuse is that we should use another site but how are you to know that when the website takes you someplace else? Very poor planning and poor follow up on the part of the owner (s).
For our part, we have a department of eight and from now on, we will not order from Shane's again. I enjoyed my food but what you put people through is ridiculous.
