Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Glenpool

I'm so disappointed. When I first tried this location a couple of months ago, I was like "This is it. I've found my/the best Chick-Fil-A!" I was naive. *Before anything, I'll admit that their nuggets are always on point (I get a 12 piece meal nearly every time I go). This is why they get 2 stars instead of 1 for food. If we could give 0 stars, I'd give them a 1.

The first two times it was perfect, then they started serving micro chicken patties so I took a small break. (I always get the Spicy Chicken Sandwich) The patties are finally an acceptable size again, but now it's inedible. The breading has been awful! It seems like they're re-frying the patties. It's often hard, or it disintegrates in your mouth/bites like sand, and it often has a burnt taste. The patties are still pretty thin in some spots, so you could imagine how dry the meat can get.

I wasn't petty the last two times when they gave me sandwiches with pickles, and I wasn't petty when they started serving either dry (refried and/or old) or soggy fries with no perfect in between. I haven't wined about the now consistently soggy sandwich breading either, because I have an oven after all (though it's frustrating that I have to use it when I'm paying for a $6 sandwich that I can never eat immediately despite living a few minutes away).

I can accept all that, but today, they served me trash. The fries were soggy, the breading on my sandwich was awful again, and the bun tasted WEIRD (too much butter maybe? At first it tasted like residual pickle juice [as if pickles had been on it], but I don't think that's what it was.). This was mostly within expectations, but a large portion of the chicken itself tasted SO FREAKING BLOODY AND I LITERALLY THREW UP. I wish I could simply say I "lost my appetite," but I've lost my appetite for Chick-Fil-A, really chicken itself, and for a long time. Absolutely disgusting. Absolutely ridiculous for the price too.

Idk if you noticed a spike in sales over the past 2 months, but expect to lose that. I'm done with your tiny, bloody, burnt chickens with overdone breading and...

We went for the movie and balloon creation event they were having for kids and got there at 11 as advertised. They were not ready. Kids finally went in to watch the movie but parents were not allowed in the room due to limited seating. There was only three kids in there including my two kids and 15 seats. I don't know how you feel but I don't trust strangers with my kids. I was told I needed to leave the room. When it came time to eating they said the kids have to either eat with the food in their lap and that they could not eat at the tables in the room. My kids have a tendency to drop food as most kids do, so I asked if my daughter could eat her maccaroni at the table and was told its for coloring and that she could eat outside the room at the regular tables. My 5 yr old daughter was upset cause she had to leave the movie and eat at the table with us. They told us that the cow would come out but by 11:45 he hadn't shown up so we left. The kids were upset about not seeing the cow as well. There were no kids coloring at the tables the whole time we were there. They also did not have balloon creations as advertised, but had balloons blown up to give to kids. It was very disappointing to say the least. I don't believe they have either had kids or have dealt with kids. Also they don't have a playground so it's not really conducive to kids and they don't know how to deal with kids. Unfortunately, continues to be more of the same. I stood waiting at the pick up counter for 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence as an employee literally walked past me multiple times. When someone did finally ask I discovered my order was ready the whole time but since they've moved the pick up shelves behind the counter I had to wait for someone to get bored enough to help me. Beginning to wonder if the food quality is worth the bad service.

Sadly, the service at this location has steadily declined. We've been coming to this location for lunch or dinner weekly for more than 2 years. At first we could order online and dependably get through the drive thru fast. Then getting through the drive thru become slow and undependable. So, we started doing pick up. Now, we seldom get the things that we ordered and we now have to inspect each order closely and most of the time there's a mistake.
