Drove by this place in Goldsboro on Cashwell Drive (Not affiliated with other Aggie's) and decided to try it for the first time. The Hispanic worker was bad-mouthing past customers, ranting nonstop about them comparing their food to other places. He said they don't need to come back if they think the food is better elsewhere and even made a racist remark about some past customer who is black. I wanted to walk out at this point. It felt like he was trying very hard to push customers away. (I'm only mentioning ethnicity to identify specifically who said what since I don't know their names.)
A nice Chinese chef came out to explain what was in certain dishes. I decided to stay and try their food against my better judgment.
We ordered carryout, and didn't check the food before leaving the restaurant. The food was so old and tasted disgusting, I’m surprised they weren’t embarrassed to serve it. The chicken tasted like it was refried multiple times, was rock-hard, and not fresh. The rice was also stale and was microwaved before being packed. I don't even care that they forgot my drink or that the food is overpriced. The "food"...
Read moreWe order from here tonight 9/1/21 on door dash. The dashers weren't the problem it was Aggies on cashwell. We placed are order about 10 mins or so the dasher went there the food wasn't even started. Finally after the 3rd dasher goes there they waited about 15 minutes more for the food. So we finally get the food and its subpar for the price that you pay. The cheesesteak eggrolls aren't worth 3 dollars for each. There's not that much meat or cheese in them. Now the spaghetti and meatballs wasn't that bad but was missing sauce the noodles were about white and not red. The philly cheesesteak wasn't bad but when you have 4/5 bread and 1/5 other ingredients then you need to work on the ratio alittle more. The eggrolls and cheese sticks were fried and you could tell the grease needed changing. I guess there just trying...
Read moreSome of their food is quite good. I usually get the cheese steak, and it always satisfies. The real highlight is that special sauce! They stingy with it... never bring enough of that special sauce out! I ask for more, and they bring these tiny, tiny containers. What are they thinking!? An ant couldn't even take a bath in there. Of course it's too small!
But the real issue that they lost two stars is the service. It's a tragic comedy. Some of the staff are so socially inept they make Sheldon Cooper look like Don Juan. Truly a band of clueless misfits. I've spent less time waiting at the DMV. And the DMV staff are a lot more helpful. This is the stuff from nightmares.
Bottomline: This is the place for you if you want some good food and have an abundance of time, patience, and understanding for...
