beanSweet Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Goldsboro

I used to visit this shop almost every day. There was a young girl who worked there, a charming redhead whose name I can't recall, but she had the best customer service I've ever experienced. Her coffee was always perfect, and I trusted her completely to make any type of coffee for me. Another excellent server there is a young man named Zack, who also does a fantastic job. However, I would feel quite discouraged when neither she nor Zack was working when I arrived. The coffee would often turn out disappointing—either watered down or just not up to the standard she set.

Seeing Zack was a rare occurrence due to my work schedule, but when I did, it brought me some comfort. It's a shame that someone who had such a great rapport with customers, made the environment welcoming, and knew how to make the perfect coffee is no longer working there. I've tried giving the benefit of the doubt and ordered coffee from the other staff members, but it never matches the quality of what she or Zack used to make. The new staff could really use some training. I'm not saying that every coffee they make is bad, but when it comes to mine, it's simply not good. I understand what it's like to work in customer service, so I still tip and head to work, but over time, I've lost the desire to keep going there. Those two young people know how to make a customer feel comfortable and carry great conversation while always doing their work to ensure best...

Coffee shop prices for coffee that tastes like it was ground months ago and bought from Walmart. Pastries taste store bought and the chocolate on some of them are equal to dollar store Easter candy. The Coffee it self is unbalanced with high acidity giving it a sour bitterness that I couldn’t enjoy despite preferring my coffee black. If you like acting like you like coffee when you really drink it for the creamer and a tooth ache this is the place for you. The store atmosphere is unwelcoming with the staff seeming almost annoyed you came (we've gone 3 times each time a different person behind the counter. All we do is walk in and order and they talk like they don’t want to even take your order.) without saying anything everyone I’ve brought with me agreed it was uncomfortable being in the shop. compared to other coffee shops in the area this place is pretty bad.

Edit: friend who enjoys this place made me go again. Staff is different and better with a more welcoming vibe. Red velvet cake i had was very very dry. Coffee still very weak almost couldn’t taste it. Still had a “lets get out of here fast” atmosphere. im shocked whoever responded to previous reviews doesn’t know they have chocolate on their s'mores brownie! What exactly was the brown...

BeanSweet Coffee Shop is such a cute place! This place has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to take a breather, and enjoy a awesome treat and drink! Indoor seating seems that it may be a little cramped if the place gets super busy, but outdoor seating is available as well. No need to worry about parking, there is plenty of parking available to visit this sweet spot! BSCS have a great location, it is easy to find!

I ordered a hot vanilla latte with cinnamon syrup, and a cheese danish; they were perfect, and paired well together. The latte wasn't too sweet and had a really good balance of flavor; the cheese danish was slamming - it was fresh, soft and fluffy with good flavor without being super sweet! The barista was very courteous, and she had our order ready in no time...

I'm excited about my next visit...
