Burger King — Restaurant in Goldsboro

My husband and I went to this Burger King to get the exclusive How To Train Your Dragon menu items. We simply wanted one of every HTTYD menu item to try because we love the movie series. When we pulled up, the line was super long and barely moving. It took us about 20 minutes to make it to where we order, about 20 minutes to make it to where we pay for the food, and then about 20 minutes to actually get our food. I wish I was exaggerating! It took so long, we were watching TikTok and playing pokemon go while we waited. The woman that took our order could not seem to comprehend anything we were saying. We had to relay our order multiple times and have her change various things cause she kept putting it down wrong which is why it took so long ordering our food. Then, when we finally got to the window to get our food, nothing but the smell of marijuana came wafting out. Also, they gave us the food the guy behind us ordered and we think our order went to the guy ahead of us. We had to give the food back and wait a long time for them to completely remake our order. It was awful. We arrived at about 6:30 and didn’t start making it back home until about 7:30 so what should have been a 5-10 minute experience cost us an hour of our time and for some really mid food. Placed order on the app of the whopper meal for 2, cheddar bites, 2 wraps and 2 Hersey pies and a thing of onion rings When we arrived they had not even started our order and it took almost a hour and a half to get our food. Upon getting it this is what we where given

2 drinks 1 out of 2 whoppers 2 chicken wraps where where soggy with grease and had obviously been cooked in old grease The Fries where also obviously cooked in old grease and tasted as such The cheeder bites where cooked till almost burnt, And the onion rings where “ fresh “ And our Hersey pies.

This was the absolute WORST experience with a fast food restaurant especially a Burger King. I will not hold all the others to the same distain as this one as they have never been an issue. And this one has NEVER been this bad till the last few times but this time was the worst. I absolutely love this location, hence the three stars. However, today two people were extremely rude. Someone skipped me in line, and of course they got my order and I got theirs. I drive back to the restaurant after speaking with a friendly manager on the phone about the situation. I was planning on giving the meal I was given to a homeless gentleman I saw sitting on the corner. When I went inside, they asked where the food was and I mentioned it was in my car. They said they needed to have it back. I grabbed the food from my car and placed it on the counter stating I was going to give it to the gentleman I saw earlier. They proceeded to throw the food away. I told them again and they walked away and didn't say anything. I understand you have to keep track of inventory but this really upset me.
