DELICIOUS! Homemade! Tasty sauces! I had egg drop soup (with those delicious, crispy noodles), and orange chicken that was obviously fresh with real orange peel, extra crispy + spicy.

My sweet wife had hot and sour soup and Cantonese chicken, which also tasted and was equally delicious and flavorful.

Our hostess was very kind and took great care of us.

This place had been open for over 30 years and the lady said it's because they don't skimp or go cheap on their food, because it's so good compared to a typical Chinese restaurant these days. The cost was only $9.98 each + drink. Look at the bill! You must make this place your go-to Chinese restaurant, with friendly service!

Prior to this review I had tried two other Chinese restaurants within in the Goldsboro area and both of those experiences have been terrible. China House on the other hand, despite their unoriginal name has thoroughly proven to me that they are the real deal. Right here in the heart of Goldsboro. The employee understood my order in plain English over the phone without me having to repeat it several times. Which may not mean much to some people but, convenience is important. After tasting the meal, I felt satisfied that I had tasted something truly different from the mundane menus of a typical american food restaurant.
