I was very disappointed with my experience today. I have been going to this restaurant about once per week for a long time now. Today I placed an order over the phone and when I went to pick up my food, I asked the owner if he had made my salad already because he said everything was already in the bag. Since I ordered the salad bar, I would expect to be able to make my own salad upon arrival. As a paying customer I'm not sure why I would have to ask to have access to the salad bar when that is what I told him I wanted. It’s not like he asked me what I wanted on the salad, he just put on there what he wanted me to have. He told me he already made my salad and I asked him why I couldn’t make my own salad and he said, with an attitude, because I did not ask him. He seemed very irritated that I was questioning him to the point that I did not even want to give him my service. I told him I wanted to cancel my order and reached out so he could give me my card back, since I did not want to spend money in an establishment that would talk to their customer this way. I could tell the thought of losing this $23 upset him and he gave me a serious attitude. Instead of handing me my card like I asked him to, he put it down to where it was out of my reach and proceeded to talk to me in a condescending manner and told me I was being arrogant and that perhaps I was having a bad day. This seemed very manipulative to me, like he was trying to distract me from the fact that he did not hand me my card like I asked him to. If I was in fact acting so arrogant like he thought, then why didn’t he just give me my card so I could leave the restaurant? I could tell he did not want to lose the money so after talking to me for 3 minutes like I was his child he stormed off and gave me the salad container so I could make my own salad. After he got paid he was super nice, but that was a strange encounter. It seemed to me like he did not expect me to call him out on his attitude so when I did by saying I wanted to cancel my order, he got really defensive. The whole encounter was quite peculiar, he was rude one minute and super nice the next. If he talked to me like that as a paying customer, I can only imagine how he talks to his employees. I’m not sure if he thinks I am a young teenager or something because I do look young for my age, but the way he talked to me was totally unnecessary. If he thought I was behaving in a rude manner, he should have set the example and behaved more maturely instead of proceeding to start an argument with me while there were customers in the restaurant. Read moreToday's experience was absolutely HORRIBLE. Me and my husband entered this restaurant this evening with the intentions on having our 8 year anniversary dinner. We arrived a little after 6. They were somewhat busy, however there were numerous tables that were opened. The gentleman that was standing at the desk when you walk in the door initially just looked at us without even speaking. I advised that we were there for a table for two and he just looked at us. Then advised to have a seat at the blue chair right in the front to wait. We continued waiting while I looked around to see numerous vacant tables. There was a younger female standing at the desk upfront as well, however intially she was on the telephone. She walked away, as well as did the older gentleman. When me and my husband were about to leave the establishment, finally they decided they had space for us at an open table (which had been open the entire time, and it was already cleaned). I watched as they walked past us on numerous occasions. The older gentleman finally came back, sat the menu in front of my husband, looked at me and stuck out the menu and then stuck out the green menu and stated "beer and wine" then walked off again. We waited for about another 5 minutes maybe and no one even asked us what we would like to drink. I saw the older gentleman come towards our table, he looked at me and then turned around and walked off and went to the other side which appears to be behind a wall. At this point, I told my husband LET'S GO. He just wanted to take me out for our anniversary, and this spoiled my entire night. To be treated as if we are invisible. Read moreI went to this restaurant for the first time with my sister. I was a little skeptic because I never tried this kind of food before. I love seafood and I wanted to go to Red Lobster. I get there and without finding this on the menu. I asked the waitress can I get fried fish shrimp and scallops on a platter she said yes. . I order my sides. My plate came and I had calamari octopus and mussels. I got the three items I order but three things I didn't was on my plate that I don't like or eat. I wasn't reading from the menu I was verbally asking the waitress. I tried to get the other items taken off the owner wasn't there. Can you believe the cook came to my table and was rude and inappropriate to me. She stated that I couldn't order just three items that way. She told me that she know that the waitress told me that. I said no she didn't she got loud and treated me like I came in to get a free meal or something. My whole plate of food was still on the table except for a bite or two. I was willing to substitute something for the same price. I felt the waitress talk nice but didn't explain nothing and she told me that I could get those three items if I can't it's the waitress responsibility to tell me before the order. I felt the cook was way our of line. I end of paying 20 dollars for a plate that I didn't even eat. I have eaten at high end restaurants and have never been treated In this manner. I taste the fish and I ate one shrimp and the food was good but after I was treated badly for saying I didn't order the other three items I lost my appetite.
