Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Goldsboro

Wanted to share an experience me and my husband had at this location. We are from out of town and are recently planted here in Goldsboro. Coming from up north our expectations for jersey mikes and our hoagies we’re very high. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman name Jeromy who was quick to strike up a conversation with my husband about football. Not only did he cut our sandwiches, top them, wrap them and complete our sale at register he continued the conversation with my husband about football for the entirety of our stay. My husband normally a quiet gentleman was taken back by how extraordinary the customer service was as he opened the door for us on our way out. Was not until we returned home that I could see what that little moment meant to him the entire day he spoke of Football and how the jersey mikes guy said this. Yummy subs. My favorite is the turkey & provolone. The cheesesteaks and the Italian are also favorites of mine. Service is always courteous and they work hard to get your food to you fast. I took a star off because the prices are higher than regular subs. The quality and taste of the food is there. If they used just a little more meat, I would give them 5 stars. I'd choose Jersey Mike's over Subway any day! The inside is clean and seems to have a steady stream of customers with periods of busy rushes for lunch and dinner. If you've wanted to try eating here but are hesitant due to prices, you can at least feel confident that the sandwich you ordered will taste good. Won a $10 gift card for Jersey Mike. I had never been there before didn't even know we had one in Goldsboro. Everyone I talk to raved about how good their food was. So I went there Jan 16th ordered a Chipotle chicken was asked if I wanted onion, peppers ect. and I said yes. Everything I have ever eaten that said chipotle had a little kick to it. This sandwich was flat nothing spicy I open it meat was so crumbly I could tell what it was chicken or beef, there was no peppers, no onions more bread than anything else. Just a dead sandwich.
