Lit Pizza - Outfitters Dr. — Restaurant in Gonzales

I’m a loyal customer of Lit I have eaten at every location they have however the one in Gonzales was the dirtiest place I have visited there was mozzarella cheese all over the item selection bar, food items & flour scattered on the entire floor, the workers were walking on top of these food items, none of the employees cared that their work environment was beyond dirty, the dining room area was just as bad pizza crust & paper on the floor, if I was the board of health I would shut this location down. I didn’t order anything because of the unsanitary conditions. The owners need to visit this site and hire a manager who knows how to run a sanitary eating establishment. The workers have no pride and initiative in their workplace. Hopefully once the owner starts paying attention and training their staff this location will be a place I will feel comfortable dinning in or ordering takeout. I was a there today and I witnessed the staff making everybody pizzas with the same gloves. The employee had to go get some more sauce and walked away touching other things and came back grabbing ingredients with the same gloves. Once my pizza came out he cut it and a piece of ham was on my pizza (I'm allergic to Pork) I asked him to remove it, which he did. I looked at the Pizza cutter and it was EXTREMELY messy from ALL the other pizzas that were cut before. I didn't say anything to the staff because I'm not confrontational and just threw my pizza in the trash. I have enjoyed pizza from here before, but tonight was obviously disappointing. Please upgrade your sanitation policy or enforce it. Im just one person and I like your establishment but if someone gets sick that...

Stopped here for lunch after hitting the outlet mall across the main road so it's in a good location. There's plenty of parking. The inside is clean and well maintained. The set-up is kind of like a sandwich shop where you can style your pizza. However, you want it with a variety of toppings, and then they cook it in a fire stove. The pizza is pretty good, I must admit. Cheesy, cooked well - no complaints about the pizza. Unfortunately, they were out of salad, so all we had was a pizza. The service was quick and friendly. What more could you ask for from a pizza place... except maybe having stuff to make a salad... but I still give them 5 stars because everything else...
