Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Goodyear

Our orders are consistently missing items regardless if we go to the drive-thru ourselves or order delivery with Uber Eats or Doordash. Every. Single. Time. From missing bacon, to fry sauce, to an entire concrete, an entire burger, and TWICE we’ve ordered their whole bottle of Fry sauce because they never give us any of the complimentary sauce as requested, and both times the bottle we paid for wasn’t received. The food here isn’t cheap so when food is missing it’s definitely missed. We love the food here but we cannot afford to keep not getting what we paid for. Although this is the closest Freddy’s location to us, we do not live close by so it is already out of our way to even make the trip here and we may have to resort to taking our business to Culvers moving forward. Get it together Freddy’s!

The new Mickey D's. Have gone twice in one week to get custard only to be told they're out of vanilla (not the case, vanilla was just shut off early, got confirmation on this. I've also been told by others that in the evening they've been told chocolate was the only option). Despite the fact I still ordered a chocolate Dirt 'N Worms with extra oreos which is a extra charge (no issue). Was charged and only received chocolate custard. The lobby was closed early and drive thru line was long so the custard went to waste. Went back yesterday evening and same thing. Chocolate only and the lobby was closed early. Gave them the benefit of the doubt despite the deja-vu and ordered a chocolate Dirt 'N Worms. This time there were oreos but two giant pieces placed on the top covering 5+ cherries that were placed in the middle (almost looked like everything was purposely placed as it was in an attempt at a joke) and no gummy worms. I stopped going here for close to a year back in 2015 after getting food poisoning (only thing I had ate that day) and started giving it a try again. Freddy's is a difficult choice to pick for me because while custard is a huge part of the draw, they have great food as well. So I have to pick one or the other or I can consume all my calories for a couple days in one go.

Freddy's burgers are great. There is a taste of saltiness either from the process or the great crust the burgers develop but it adds to the burger's flavor. Definitely the best burger you can get through a drive thru. The fries are shoestring which is different than the typical offerings, but I much prefer them over crinkle cut. The chicken tenders are good, crispy and still juicy but nothing out of the ordinary for fast food. I am not a sauce person but everyone talks about their Freddy's fry sauce. The custards are addictive and they offer a variety of toppings.
