Get your photos done elsewhere, don't say I didn't warn you. I'll try to be brief, but the review is two-part.
I placed a photo order online for store pick-up. Unfortunately one item stated that it had to be done elsewhere, so it would not be ready at the same time. I received an email that my first order was ready and I went to the store. The clerk asked my name and began the search... unfortunately it's very difficult to know where your item may be. After 5+ minutes of searching, eventually the item was located. They tried to charge me, even though it had been paid online. When I stated it was paid online, I was advised that they still have to scan it. Still not sure why I was told how much I would need to pay, but I went on my way.
Fast forward a week, although my order stated it would be ready in 2 days, I never received confirmation it was ready. The order showed delivered to the store, it did state to wait for an email that the item was ready for pick-up. Since I confirmed it was delivered on Tuesday (Today was Saturday), I decided it must be ready...maybe they forgot to email me. I walked into the store and after someone came to help me, they asked for additional assistance to help locate my second order. The next person asks for my telephone number and tells me that I don't have any orders. When I said that she was wrong, she looked at me like a deer in the headlights...like I had two heads. I explained that I had the order number and asked if they can look it up any other way. Eventually she found the order and said that it was in processing....????? Uhm... I explained that it had been over a week and that's not even possible. I explained that it had been delivered and after another 5 minutes of searching... nothing. The manager advised me that she couldn't help me...
So I called the 800# for a refund. They told me that they would have to call the store to confirm...after confirming everything I had already told the store. After 30 minutes of hold time, the 800 person came back and told me that it was located and I could return and pick the order up. The person that signed for it was able to locate it. So... yay, I went back to the store and the clerk told me she would get the manager. The manager explained that they don't have access to look up order information. I explained that I shouldn't have to call an 800 number to call them, to get help... like seriously... and this is the manager??? She was either lazy or inept... could have asked me for the order info, even though I was trying to provide it to her. Okay... enough.... took me over an hour to pick up my order,...
Read moreI just had a HORRIBLE experience with this lady, Amnity, at this pharmacy!! My Dad just had surgery and was not recovering well from it. Long story, but the Doctor at the hospital (where he had surgery) just called in his pain medication at 5:48. Then the nurse called me to say it was called in. So, I called this Walgreens to make sure they if they even had time to fill it before they closed at 6:00. They would and they had it, but they close at 6:00. I said, "Okay, if I leave now, my phone says I will arrive exactly at 6:00, so can you please wait for me to run in and grab it?" (You know, cause it might take me 30 seconds to get out of my car and walk back there.) She flat out said, "No." I'm like I will be there at 6:00. I just have to run to the back and she said, "No, we close sharply at 6:00." I felt that was an incredibly selfish, with no compassion, answer. What if it was her Dad in pain?
Also, my husband happened to be out driving and I asked him to try to get by 6:00. He walked in at 5:59 and ran to the back and it turned to 6:00, on the dot, and he said, "Excuse me, I need help," he saw the girl and she/they closed the curtain thing on him!! I feel that was rude (and selfish, as employees seem concerned to want to hurry and punch out, instead of wanting to help people in need)! I used to wait a few minutes, when working at a cookie company, if someone was running late and asked me to wait till they got there, I would say, "Sure!" and wait a few minutes extra until I closed. I would try to be kind and considerate. Sometimes people can't control their circumstances of why they are running late. And that was for a cookie cake, not essential pain meds for someone who just had...
Read moreAbsolutely frustrating!! The Pharmacy at the Pebblecreek and McDowell location is completely unorganized. My husband and I have both have stood at the window to pick up an Rx that is ready and they cannot find it. It appears they have at least 4 different places they pile up the bags of finished orders and have to dig through the piles to find what you are there to PU. Yesterday I had a new Rx sent in by my Drs. office and at around 12:30 was told they could have it & another one ready in a couple minutes, after waiting quite some time the tech/cashier came back & said the Dr had to administer a shot and I would have to wait about 20min. (Why is the Pharmacist giving shots?) I stopped back later only to be told 1 of my Meds, the one I really needed was “out of stock”!!! I insisted they tell me what other Walgreens I could go to& get what I really needed. After waiting around again, low and behold they found the Medication I needed and FINALLY got the order finished!! The out of stock situation has happened before and it took an entire week to get filled. The management of this location is terrible and needs to be overhauled. Find somewhere else to fill your...
