Save yourself the headache and go to Culver's across the street for better food and service.
Let me preface this saying I've worked in food so I'm usually pretty relaxed with workers but oh my god was today awful.
I pulled up in the drive thru and ordered my usual, "2 double stacks, only ketchup and cheese on them." The worker was stumped. He asked me to repeat it, I did, no big deal. He still didn't get it, couldn't figure out how to punch it in. I've worked on tills, they're not complicated, most are literally pushing pictures but apparently only ketchup and cheese was too hard. I was still patient.
I hear him say "only ketchup cheese" to someone and another voice comes on (manager I guess) and she says "only ketchup and cheese right?" I say "yes. And a medium fry." First guy comes back and says "$15.34 please pull ahead." Which is SO WRONG. No way my total for 2 double stacks off the value menu and a medium fry costs that much.
I get to the window and ask him to check it because there's no way that's right, he closes the window and opens it a minute later saying "only ketchup and mayo right?" Jskdkskencskkieihfkedkdkdn REALLY!?!?
"No only ketchup and cheese" I say... window shuts, window opens, lady there now I assume the same manager from before and she says "only ketchup and cheese right?" "Yes" she turns to the kitchen and says "remake it"
I peeled out of the drivethru after that with no food and I doubt I'll ever be back. I don't care if you run the whole store with foreigners but holy cow get some people who can speak English, not even fluently just good enough to take a damn order. I might as well been explaining rocket science...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars for this visit, I would. First of all, let me say that the employees and customer service were top notch. No problems there. But this is an issue I've encountered more than once, and I need to speak about it. When I heard Wendy's was releasing a Pumpkin Frosty on September 12, I circled my calendar. I checked the app before heading out to confirm that the new flavor had been released. Yes, there it was, showing up at my local restaurant. I placed my order in the app, PAID FOR the item, along with a Junior Fries and Junior Cheeseburger and went to pick it up in the Drive Thru lane. When I got to the window, I find out the Pumpkin Frosty is NOT available, and they have no idea when it will be available. The Strawberry Frosty had already been disabled, so my choices were chocolate or...what? Holding up a line of cars behind me while they process a refund? Park, go inside, and sort out a refund? I use the app to avoid going inside! Come on! If this was the only time this happened, I would simply chalk it up to bad luck. Unfortunately, this happens REPEATEDLY with places that have app ordering, not just Wendy's. If you're going to encourage app ordering, then something needs to be figured out where the app talks to the restaurant BEFORE payment is taken. Don't accept all orders first and then figure out how to appease the customer afterwards when they find out their item isn't available. That's unacceptable, and it puts your employees in a very bad spot. Very disappointed in you, Wendy. - Destined Goblin food...
Read moreWhoever runs the 2 o'clock shift needs evaluation. Kids behind the counter rudely making jokes of my obese family member (one boy even stretched his face to mimic her appearance) and when my five year old mentions that even though only one group was in there while we were, every single table was filthy. The burger I ordered was fine. Fries were cold to the touch. I tried to find a drink five times on the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine because nothing I wanted was even available. How can you have so many paid individuals mocking the people who pay them and not even have a clean table to dine at?
I wholeheartedly do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. I also think the three individual 15-17 yo boys working the front should be terminated immediately. I will be telling people about this for a long time coming!
Edit- forgot to mention the boy stretching his face did so with his gloves on and proceeded to bag food. Forgot to mention food safety...
