I’ve had regular pizza from here and it was wonderful. I really enjoyed it, which is why they are getting a 3 star review rather than less due to what I’m about to explain next. I normally eat gluten and dairy free due to sensitivities, and majority of my clients are gluten and dairy free as well, so I like to have good places to recommend them to. I decided to give their gluten free crust and vegan cheese a try. I asked the cashier what the brand of dairy free cheese they use is, turns out they use Daiya. Daiya is definitely bottom line vegan cheese. It does not melt, and is known for having a less than favorable taste as well as leaving people with digestive upset. Disappointed as I was, I decided to go without the cheese, get my pizza to go and make my own dairy free mozzarella at home. Well unfortunately there was nothing that could have been done to save this pizza, whichever brand they use for their gluten free crust is very hard, I mean very hard!!!! Cardboard status all the way. I understand that in the restaurant business, you need to be able to make money and that majority of your clientele is not gluten or dairy free, however, if the options you do provide are very low quality, that reflects badly on you. It’s much more honorable to not carry a gluten and dairy free alternative than to carry the bottom of the line worst quality options out there. I really hope that things change because I’d love to be able to send my wellness clients here as an extra option, as well as enjoy their pizza myself, but with the dairy and gluten free options they currently have, I definitely do not recommend. Read moreNice clean environment. The building has an open feel, just slightly nicer than typical fast food venues. The oven in the corner is mesmerizing to watch as the staff juggles pies in and out of the doorway with the long handled peel. One of the four staff looked like they wanted to be there and greeted us. We ordered two of the same Smokey Dokey pies that were oven fired and came out piping hot. The personal (dinner plate sized) pizzas looked good with a bubbly thin crust and melty cheese in the middle. Toppings, however, were sub-minimal, if that's even a description:
Read moreI did a pick up order, it was good I was mostly happy! The San Marino sounds good but we got the Italian stallion. The reason I gave it four stars, and this may be a customer error here but it did not click that these were personal size pizzas until after I ordered. I guess there not being sizes listed on the menu should have been a clue but I think it’d be better to be full disclosure and include on your menu hey these are such and such inches, even if there isn’t a larger option, you know? Just better to be informed. It tasted good and was ready fast. Only other thing of note, and I don’t mean it rude just factual… a “knot” in Italian food doesn’t mean a strip of dough with “knots” in it. It’s generally referring to dough that has been “tied” into “a knot”. Like a garlic knot at any other place in the world lol. 🤦🏼♀️ anywho I wouldn’t order the knots again. It’s just plain dough strips that you dip into cinnamon frosting more or less. Meh. Room...
