I was at this Subway on Friday, April 2, 2021. There was a very long line, but it was lunchtime and I was in no hurry. The employees were clearly overwhelmed, but most of them were working hard and doing their best during a rush. A woman named Kelly was working and being incredibly rude. Not only was she berating the man at the register, she was publicly yelling about how she was sick of people coming in and frustrated with how busy they were. It made me (and visibly others) feel super uncomfortable for being there. When it got to be my turn, the woman getting the bread/cheese was kind and apologized for the chaos. Kelly continued to loudly complain about us customers and threw a knife that bounced off the counter. Then she loudly and forcefully replaced the vegetable containers by slamming them down, all while continuing to berate and yell at the cashier. I worked in restaurants for years and know how frustrating rushes can be, but Kelly handled the stress horribly. I have never written a bad review before, but her awful attitude and meanness prompted me to write something. I felt worse for the cashier than myself or the other customers. Read moreI haven't come here in months because the service is AWFUL. BUT I was close so I ordered ahead for yet another HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE. I WAITED OVER 15 MINUTES FOR MY PRE ORDER TO EVEN BE STARTED. PEOPLE WHO WALKED IN THE STORE BEHIND ME HAD THERE orders made, paid AND LEFT. And of course the guys who walked in 5 minutes AFTER me were friends of the staff member so she decided to make their subs first while flirting with them. And after the 15 minutes OF STANDING there waiting I asked for an update where I was told we have to help other people. And when I asked how the PEOPLE WHO ARRIVED AFTER ME TOOK PRIORITY I didn't get an answer. Another 5 minutes and I left and I will be filling a charge back on my credit card. I can honestly say that these staff are terrible.
One of my worst visits EVER to Subway. The employee was VERY rude. If this is how Subway employees are allowed to act then I am done patronizing this chain. Read moreAlthough our food was fine, the service was not. The young man, who initially waited on us, was polite and pleasant. I ordered the Reuben, which is a special right now. My bf also wanted a Reuben but, was told it would take a "really long" time, to cut more corned beef. He was instead offered the turkey Reuben. It was 7:30pm and they were closing at 9pm. Why would it have been so difficult, to slice some more meat??? The young man did try to get the other employee to prep the meat but, she had a nasty attitude about it and all but, refused to do it. My bf decided on something else, while they went back and forth. We spend a lot of money at Subway and expect to be able to order off of the menu. This is the SECOND time something like this, has happened in less than 6 months. A manager may want to explain to the employees that, laziness does not make money! We would have spent MORE money getting two Reubens, also lol. Get it...
