Big Block Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Grants Pass

Ordered through door dash app for pick up at the store. Staff gave my order to a door dash DRIVER and did NOT bother to check the order info when giving it to the driver. The lady with the glasses then told me I would have to pay again for them to remake the order. After she was rude to us, an additional waiting customer and her coworker, she finally agreed to remake the order. She continued to blame Door Dash for the issue and did not take any responsibility for giving away our order. She continued to tell me 'i can't remake the order, it is not longer in the system. She refused to cancel or refund the order that she gave away to another person. The coworker had already offered to correct the issue by remaking the order but glasses lady actually told her not to cause "they already made it and gave it to someone". Awful customer service. Why do I have to pay twice for one order!

To reply to the owner- your staff gave the order to the driver. They admitted they did not check to see if it was for pick up. This had nothing to do with Door Dash's handling of the order- your staff gave the order away and then told us "too bad, so sad- place another order and pay again for it and we will make it" The lady in the glasses told us that and that is pretty rude to tell a customer that already paid for an order from your establishment. She admitted they gave the order away when they shouldn't have but still insist we had to pay again to actually...

I hope they succeed. The place is very clean. We went for lunch, mid week. The inside is small and loud from some blowers, it was also a bit too cool so we sat outside, where it was loud from traffic. There is no designated trash can outside and no napkins on the outdoor tables. There were no vegetarian sandwiches on the menu so I ordered the kids menu grilled cheese, adding pickles and tomato. There is not a bread option so it came on a hoagie, which was just too much bread in the mouth. My friend ordered the chicken Caesar wrap, but it came out as a sandwich on the hoagie. He said it was “alright”. Both sandwiches were unremarkable. I had to make three trips back inside for the side of mustard I had asked for, and for napkins and to throw away the wrappers. The girl making the food was all smiles. The girl taking the orders was hesitant, shy, and seemed overwhelmed. Again, it’s very clean and I hope...

This was the first time eating there. The service was great, nice clean . Love the decor. I had the LG Italian grinder. Was too much dressing on it, the bread was very mushy , and so was the lettuce. Those are problems that can be fixed with order, but the main problem is the lack of meat. More pickles than meat. Per section of sandwich, there was one VERY thin piece of ham, salami and pepperoni, I taste no cheese. Then if that wasn't bad enough, the deli meat had been cooked. The consitity of was jerky like. I know that deli meat is expensive, but I'd much breather pay a couple extra $$ and actually have some meat, or have a $14 sandwich, that I won't order again. I was really had hope for this place, but not based on the sandwich that I had yesterday...
