Turned off by the fact that all food is served in disposable material and they also use plastic forks and spoons. I didn’t like dipping a plastic spoon in boiling hot miso soup. Miso soup was too salty and had no seaweed. At $4 for 8 ounces of miso, I would not order it again. California rolls are basic, with imitation crab and lots of mayo sauce. At $8 for a standard-sized roll, I wouldn’t recommend. The bimbap sushi roll was unique. You pay $2 more for them to add a very small amount of bulgogi to it. The bulgogi adds to the uniqueness of the roll. (See photo) The only way I’d come back here is if I craved bulgogi and they allowed me to bring my own dishes because I feel so guilty using everything disposable plastic. The price of Cali roll and miso soup would need to be lowered by $1 at least. Overall, this is not a place I would excitingly recommend to my friends and family.

This was an absolute gem of a Korean restaurant. Everything I ate hit the spot. The bulgogi with a fried egg was DELICIOUS! Do not sleep on it. A must order here. The kimbap was some of the best I’ve ever had. The owner hooked it up with a house made soup. Very thankful for it cause that soup was bomb dot com. The owners name was Faith, and she was a sweetheart. Grants Pass is blessed to have Maru in their community!

I was heading to Seattle from LA and didn’t expect Korean restaurant in Grants Pass! Actually this one is better than any in LA :) Staffs were friendly and joyful. Food was amazing and price was reasonable. Kimbab was my favorite! Definitely recommend.

So happy to have a good Korean restaurant in Grants Pass! So far we tried their Bulgogi, Spicy Pork, GP roll and California roll. All were deliciously cooked/prepared with reasonable prices. The meats were very flavorful and the sushi had quality ingredients. The crew were welcoming and very nice. It is a plus that they use compostable plastic. This place will definitely be in our...
