Turned off by the fact that all food is served in disposable material and they also use plastic forks and spoons. I didn’t like dipping a plastic spoon in boiling hot miso soup. Miso soup was too salty and had no seaweed. At $4 for 8 ounces of miso, I would not order it again. California rolls are basic, with imitation crab and lots of mayo sauce. At $8 for a standard-sized roll, I wouldn’t recommend. The bimbap sushi roll was unique. You pay $2 more for them to add a very small amount of bulgogi to it. The bulgogi adds to the uniqueness of the roll. (See photo)
The only way I’d come back here is if I craved bulgogi and they allowed me to bring my own dishes because I feel so guilty using everything disposable plastic. The price of Cali roll and miso soup would need to be lowered by $1 at least.
Overall, this is not a place I would excitingly recommend to my...

The kimbap was some of the best I’ve ever had. The owner hooked it up with a house made soup. Very thankful for it cause that soup was bomb dot com. The owners name was Faith, and she was a sweetheart. Grants Pass is blessed to have Maru in...
