Sweet Tea Express — Restaurant in Grants Pass

I have now had the 2 worst meals I have ever been served in a restaurant. 1st try, I had the brisket. Thinly sliced chewy not edible pieces of fat. 2nd trip tried breakfast. Everything my wife ordered came out wrong and breakfast was extremely greasy. Definitely will not try again. I've been in the restaurant business for 35 years, so saying the worst is a huge statement.

Had breakfast this morning in Grants Pass. Hash and eggs and what should have been Ham and Swiss omelet. We asked to sub Swiss for cheddar. Sub HB for HF. Substitution threw them all off. Omelet came out waiting for HB. HB undercooked and greasy. My hash and HB all undercooked and greasy. 2 weeks prior I tried the brisket. I almost think it might have been the point not cut properly. I’m sharing this review because unfortunately this is our second time at this location (Beacon) and we have been very disappointed each time. I just picked up an early dinner for my wife and I, a pulled pork salad and 1lb of brisket. The brisket must be at least 2 days old. Extremely chewy, if we return to Sweet Tea I will be asking when the meat was last prepared. 2 stars because my wife’s salad is decent but they forgot her dressing and the lettuce is very sparse. We absolutely loved our experience at the Redwood location a few weeks prior. Hoping the owner and or management sees this and helps the Beacon location. Where do I start? I let the staff know the chicken was very undercooked, bloody in the very center. And yes I wiped all the bbq sauce off and smoking meat does not start in the center of the breast! And all the young man could say was ok and shrug his shoulders and walk away. I also let a waitress know and she proceeded to offer a scone to go?? Also letting me know that they smoke their meat.
