This review is from 6 months ago. Maybe things have changed. About two years ago, I wrote a stellar review for this Verizon affiliate, complimenting the reps for their knowledge, patience, and kindness. UNFORTUNATELY, times have changed. Now, the current reps sneak to the back office to complain about the customers, and they promise deals that they are either intentionally lying about or simply intellectually incapable of understanding. My wife and I visted the store twice in two weeks, patiently waiting over an hour each time to talk to the same sales representative. The rep offered us a promotional upgrade, promising a discount that never manifested. After she took my wife's phone and sent it off, we found our bill rising. The rep texted my wife and said she could not honor the deal, but could offer us a much smaller promotion. She originally promised us $400 off after the trade in. Eventually, we had to contact corporate. They rebated us over $300, but we could not recover the $29.99 paid to the Verizon affiliate. We feel that we were intentionally deceived by the rep. Since we met with her twice over approximately ten days about the same deal, she should have had time to confirm the deal she offered. Once she took our phone, what could we do? We called corporate. They recommended driving to Medford to the actual corporate store for future services. It might be a drive with today's gas prices, but it's worth it to avoid an affiliate scamming you out of hundreds of dollars. Oh, and in the future, while venting about customers, please advise the reps to shut the door to the back office. I'm legally deaf in one ear, and I heard what they said about those people who were still waiting for their trade ins. Four unsatisfying months later, we switched to T Mobile. We have more hotspot data and 5G in rural Merlin for...
Read moreJuly 13,2019 When my husband and I walked into the store three employees in the same area of the store were starring at us. We approached one male employee and told him I had a problem with my phone. He said, "You will have to get one of them to wait on you, I'm going on break." He walked away. The female on the ladder just looked at him, got off the ladder, abruptly tossed the merchandise from her hands on to the table, walking not three feet in front of us and didn't even acknowledge our presence following him to the backroom. My husband asked. "Is there anyone here going to wait on us?" The third employee was sitting on his butt about 15 feet from us and said, "I can help you. He made no attempt to get up to greet us. We walked over and told him our problem believing we needed a new battery. He said, "There was nothing he could do for us, he didn't sell batteries we would have to go to another store to buy a battery or upgrade." We told him we have insurance so it should be covered. So he gave us an 800# to call. As soon as we walked out the door the other two employees returned to the store floor. I watched their activities not liking the way we were treated. While my husband called the 800# to go through the process. The employee who said he was going on break, went nowhere! He waited on the next customer Brad Booker who I knew from my previous job. Speaking to the very nice gentleman on the 800 call we were informed that the battery couldn't be replaced we would have to upgrade or buy a new replacement phone. Anyway why were we treated so rudely by Verizon employees. Was it my Keep America Great Hat. I truely believe it was. This letter will be posted over and over again on Twitter and Parler till these employees are no working longer working for...
Read moreHutch was the most receptive and dedicated to my having the best outcome possible with my most recent visit. Long story short I purchased a new smart phone that had some odd and rare defect. Being a popular phone Terry Lane was currently out of new same style phone to replace it. TCC on Union Avenue had one so I went to that location. At arrival at the Union location the guy at the counter was a negative energy from the moment my 2 sons and I entered the door. When he asked how he could help me. I gave him the run down to why I was there. Immediately this guy stated, " No we don't do that." Excuse me my 14th day of a new $1000 phone and you are telling me you don't exchange a deflected phone? He literally had a different employee run the brand new phone back to Terry lane to service me a new phone. Upon arrival back to Terry lane and after feeding my 2 9 year old sons dinner cause this was obviously an ordeal for at this point. Hutch greeted me and apologized sincerely. Hutch did everything he could to help me and my sons finish this ordeal on a great note. Hutch was answering phone lines, greeting other customers and giving truly honest expectations of estimated unknown time frame all the while having customer service and IT on his cell line to get my phone changed out. Moral of the situation Hutch and Hutch alone salvaged the TCC brand and company reputation that night. I will NEVER refer to the Union location. And sad thing is I work at the local hospital across the street from Union and it's literally more convenient for my life. Bye Union site. Should work on pleasant staff and customer...
