Arby's — Restaurant in Great Falls

As always the greek gyro sandwiches were great at the newly remodeled Arbys on the west side of Great Falls. However the place was dirty & the service bleak. There was no other customers there when my friend & I hobbled in on our canes to enjoy a nice late lunch. Three crew members were standing behind the counter. They took our order & said we could come up to the counter when it was ready. We had to ask if they would kindly bring it out since both if us had trouble walking. Then, the ONLY table in the entire place that was clean was in the bright sunshine. We could still see the crew standing behind the counter. Finally my friend hobbled back up to the front & asked if they would please come clean a table off for us. Or did we need to get a rag & do it ourselves? A gal came out & asked which table we wanted & cleaned just that one. Said they were too busy to clean the others. Brought our food out. Did not ask if we needed anything else or if we needed help getting our large drinks. At this point, 2 of the crew were standing over by the bathrooms discussing personal biz. The drink area obviously had not been cleaned all afternoon & the floor was a mess. We ate, chatted & left after 45 minutes. Still no crew had come out to clean anything in the lobby, although they were again standing around behind the counter. Arbys might have spent a bunch on their remodel, but if it is going to be dirty/unkept & have crew who obviously do not care - well makes you wonder what the kitchen...

I was so livid tonight by my experience at the 1300 3rd St Arby's store: The person who took our order was clearly playing around. He was talking in a false, theatrical voice. He did not listen to what I was ordering. I told him that I had two orders. He asked me what I wanted on the first order. He was giggling and didn't hear what I said. I finally finished my order and he gave me a total. But after I gave him the other order, he gave me the total for both. He said he couldn't separate them and to come to the window. There were actually 2 people on the radio at the same time. The other was a girl. A much more sensible young man straightened it out. But when I got home, the order was wrong. I called back and they offered me free meals. This was Trevor, and he was very professional. I am not certain I would recommend this store to anyone and I'm not sure I'm ever going back there again. Unfortunately, I have always liked this store, but this past year, they're messed up several times. I am very forgiving of human error, but I have no use for blatant rudeness and nonsense from staff.

Upon ordering, I find there milkshake machine wasn’t working. If I wanted a broken milkshake machine I would’ve just gone to McDonald’s, but that’s a whole other issue. The order was simple, one might say quite basic - half pound roast beef meal and a beef and Swiss. For some reason, only known to the employee who decided more work was necessary, we were given a beef and cheddar instead of the half pound meal. Now normally that’s not a big deal, but the meat was so disgustingly bad, the sandwiches were inedible. In conclusion, will not be returning for at least a week.

P.S when I tried my drink which was supposed to be a delicious, refreshing Dr Pepper, I picked up on the taste of root beer. They think they are sly with hiding the mistake, but it’s there, always forever the horrible root beer flavor overshadowing the wonderful delicacy that...
