Avoid this store, if you’re looking for honesty and professional service. To make a long story very short, an associate was kindly helping me with a purchase. He noticed a price discrepancy and couldn’t find the proper price on their website. He and I quote, “I’ll honor the price on the tag…” he went to get the box. After a lengthy wait, some other associate came and asked if I had a question about pricing. I let him know I did not. He informed me that the price would not be honored. I asked why the other employee wasn’t informing me of this and he said “he doesn’t run this shop, I do.” I questioned him about their policy and he said he would not honor an obvious mistake. I was courteous and returned all the items I was going to purchase. I made a large purchase this weekend and am heading home to bring it all back for a refund. If you can’t stand behind the word of a member of your staff and allow that staff to continue to explain their concerns or decisions, then I will not hesitate to discontinue my patronage. They are not the only outfit in town and have lost thousands in business from me and my circle of influence. Integrity goes a long way...

Dawn took the time to explain to me the in’s and out’s of the sunglass market. Zero pressure. Super knowledgeable on each product. I even asked a question about one acronym on one of the pairs of glasses and Dawn was straight up honest and said “you know what that is a great question and I do not know but let me find out.” The reason I want to mention that is that most sales associates will tell the consumer anything to buy that product and get them out that door. Not in this case..

Read moreHonestly horrible went to help a friend get a waterfoul 12ga and when going to the counter sam.m acted as if the rifle was for me when we told him it was for my un-experianced friend. He also accused me of "hiding" from him when I was on the ammunition isle lmao. He made me take a background check on a gun I told him was not for me. Really it's a hunting rifle man... then the (Question ask if the gun is for me, and states if it isn't then i can't buy it)... uh.. no. So I click no... get failed... then when leaving because I was asked to "leave" I had to DEMAND for my identification back(minutes after the transaction was denyed) first off. Sam was super rude then insinuated i was lying then wasted my evening. If you're intrested in buying a firearm I would caution you to try other places in town 1st. There is no professionalism standard here and I spend a lot of money on outdoors, scheels will not be getting any of it...
