Disappointed. Here is my experience:
Selected the 9th St. location as my store on the website and created an account previously On a different day, went to the website to order; clicked Order Selected ASAP - taken directly to menu to order Selected pizza; went to checkout Entered email address and password and signed in Scrolled to the bottom and did not notice the pickup location Continued and checked out Showed up at 9th St. location 30 minutes later only to be told they didn't have my order
Went back to the website to see what the problem was and noticed that once you click ASAP, there is NO WAY to change the pickup location and it defaults to the 8th Ave location. Great UX design.
-2 stars for wasting my time -1 star for working with a bad vendor for ordering -1 star for leaving me without a pizza and having to stop at Chick-fil-A on the way home
The pizza is actually pretty good. I am from New York and I am VERY picky about my pizza, but I am not going to worry about the ordering process every time when a company cannot be bothered to architect their UX correctly and I am not going to pick up the phone and call every time. Sadly, I will skip...
Read moreSTAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AND MAYBE EMPIRE STATE PIZZA AND WING SHACK IN TOTAL! Ellie was totally rude. Mike the owner was rude.
Was really looking forward to this they don’t take cash on delivery anymore. What the heck? Then lied and said they can do pickup with cash but not delivery because they can’t sent the order back without payment to the kitchen. How is that possible for pickup but not delivery. It’s all a lie. If you have your own team and use DoorDash to offset when busy then use your team to deliver for cash orders SIMPLE. Told me that stadiums don’t use cash? Am i at a stadium or ordering food remotely because hm maybe someone has a disability .. how RUDE!
Don’t like the mediocre chicken wings that are small or feathers in my chicken either.
UPDATES: they can lie all they want but wing shack, Empire State pizza and sexy Sammie’s all share the same owners - and low quality...
Read moreWe have been eating here for years and I recently popped in the new location for a pick up order and was extremely taken back by the 5% charge you receive for using a card! It should not cost any costumer $5 dollars to pay with a card when they order $100 in food from your business. This is cheap and it stinks from the owners! They want the costumers to pay their bank fees and I would assume it puts extra money in their pockets! They also fail to tell the costumer this when they place an order and it’s a nice little surprise waiting for you when you get there. I got a better idea how about you pay your bank fees because you run a business and it’s your responsibility as an owner to pay them not the costumer. I am sure a lot of us would much prefer 5% go into your employees tip jars every time we use a card then the...
