Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom — Restaurant in Greeley

Went in there to celebrate my birthday, however it did not go as planned. We had a party of 6, however, parties of the same size kept coming in and were being seated before us. We saw there was a long table at the bar area. We asked the greeter if we could at least sit there, and get our own drinks while we waited for the server to free up. The host said it was perfectly fine, so we sat and headed for the bar. As we’re getting our drinks, the server Megan came up and started yelling at us and at the bartender. She said she would not serve us since we had gotten drinks from the bar. We tried to explain to her that the host had told us this was okay but she cut us off and became hostile. She started cursing and my buddies and I. Next thing I know, she had also been hostile towards my wife and her friends. We then asked to speak to the manager because she clearly disrespected all of us. He comes out, and as he’s talking to her, she’s taunting us. Blowing us kisses, saying bye, and laughing at us. We finally get to speak with the manager, and although he says he is not defending her, it was clear that nothing was going to be done. He basically said we were stealing from her money, just because we went up to the bar to get the first drink. We explain our frustration, and the fact that she was being a terrible host, yet he says that it’s our fault cause she wasn’t going to make any profit. I really hope that if I ever go again, Megan is not there. I do understand being stressed at work(happens to all of us) but I completely disagree taking it out on guests. All in all, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any restaurant. I would have much rather been told we couldn’t dine there that night, than been treated that...

The management is terrible. Eric loucks The manager does not have customer service skills. He finds excuses when there are mistakes in your orders. He does not help employees having issues with the orders he basically lets them deal with it, even if they keep having issues. I have had two different incidents at this location, when he was supervising. The last event was the worst which happened on 7/7/17 after 10:30pm. we were a group of people 12 and paying in separate tickets. Our orders were missing items and they also were brought at different times when they were all order at the same time. He brought wrong and incorrect drinks, didn't get silverware and napkins, we had to ask another waiter/tress for them. He never checked on us if we needed refills. And the worst part was waiting for our tickets. We told him how to split it but when he came back he only had part of it done and it was not even split right. I told him more than 5 times how to split it again and he just could not get it at the end we just decided to pay for everyone. The manager passed by and didn't help the waiter. This was definitely a terrible experience and I'm very sad because I love the food and some of the waitress/ers do an amazing job but when employees do not have good leader makes a job stressful and customer unhappy. I really hope the owner takes the time to talk with Eric because we had such a bad experience that we don't want to come back or recommend this...

Leaving a one star because it doesn’t allow me to put zero. Our server was an older gal with blonde money pieces. We got fried pickles to start and halfway through noticed it had a hair in it. I get it, it happens so I forgot about it… about 40 minutes go by and not to mention it’s not even busy my party of 3 gets our food and my request was to have grilled jalapeños added to my burger however it doesn’t look like there was an attempt to grill them. Our server also had a table of two grown men drinking wine funny enough she over served them wayyyyy passed there limits and only payed attention to her other tables that were having alcohol. This was the worst service by far I have ever encountered, We had to get up and walk to the front to get the host who appeared to be either drunk or really stoned and ask for our check and our dessert to go because our waitress was too busy caring for serving alcohol and being overly nice to certain tables that had it. I’m a server so I understand the importance of good service and let alone leaving a tip considering it is how I make my money also but this was just so awful I couldn’t bring myself to tip her too well so I did based on her performance. Enjoy your dollar lady and here’s another tip try to offer better customer service to EVERYBODY and don’t overserve your tables you could put your stores liquor license at risk god forbid your customer...
