Hello everyone it's Food Guy checking out food here and there. Today was a good food day. I am happy to say this restaurant scored pretty high on the list. When first pulling up to the building, a person may think there in the wrong place. The restaurant is in a old/vintage house. And at first glance you might think no way is this an Italian restaurant. Well it is, and I think they did a great job in the decor/atmosphere. It's very cozy but not over the top, comfortable may be a better way of putting it. The gentleman that attended to our order was very helpful and took good care of us. I asked a lot of questions and he had no problem in taking the time to speak with me. I then began my tour of the restaurant and I spoke with many different customers, with all of them saying they were happy with the restaurant and would definitely recommend coming back. We got our drinks and appetizers, (very good) I definitely recommend the 32 oz margarita 🍹. About 10 minutes later our food showed up. Baked chicken Parmesan with cheese ravioli and a four item calzone. Let's put it this way if you leave hungry it's your own fault. I believe that pizza and calzones are the bread and butter of the menu but the chicken Parmesan really hit the spot. The only negative that I would say to the menu is there really isn't an alternative to meat besides salad. Now I may have missed it and if I did, my apologies. But a shrimp Alfredo or a crab ravioli may be a good addition to the menu. Overall this restaurant is definitely worth coming back to, there prices are ok..( compared to other Italian restaurants in the area) but the atmosphere and food are spot on 🎉😃

Read moreWe had the pleasure of experiencing this wonderful restaurant while celebrating our kids birthdays. We had asked them where they would like to go for dinner and they immediately stated "Santeramo's!". We had never been before and I now feel like I have missed out. Everything about this place is incredible. We all had drinks, I would highly recommend the Italian Margarita! The kids encouraged us to try an order of garlic bread and Cheesey bread both of which were mets-in-your-mouth divine! We also ordered a small pepperoni & sausage as another appetizer pizza because we had heard that pizza was one of their specialties and really good. The suggestion was straight up!! Everything was SO fresh and perfectly cooked. The sauces and noodles for thier dishes are made in-house and have amazing flavor! I personally ordered a customized meat lovers Calzone with a side of both red and white sauce so I could try both. The result being that I will have a hard time deciding on which sauce to get when I go back! My wife had the flatbread pizza, daughter had Manicotti and Son went with spaghetti & meatballs. All of the plates were very large portions and most everyone ended up taking leftovers home. Our waitress was extremely pleasant, helpful and attentive. She did an excellent job of taking care of our group! The atmosphere was very neat, clean and cozy. They have a nice outdoor dinning area which looked really nice, but it was just too chilly while we were there to enjoy it. But, next time! I cannot recommend this place highly enough! If you have any inclination toward amazing Italian food in a great atmosphere you will not be disappointed in...
Read moreI'd heard good things about this restaurant from a friend, so I decided to try it on one of my rare days off.
I was going to try the pizza, but they don't offer pizza by the slice (try Empire State pizza if you want decent slices--Right Coast Pizza has let their standards slip), so I went with their signature pasta instead. The homemade pasta was very bland (I'd imagine they didn't salt the water) and the sauce wasn't very well balanced (very sweet). The meatball was decent, but could've used more seasoning. The portion itself was quite large, but I sent most of the pasta and sauce away. If I worked in the kitchen and saw almost an entire plate of pasta go in the trash, I'd inquire as to why, but that scenario never materialized. I then asked if they make their desserts and the waitress said that they don't, but that they come from Denver. I had the limoncello mascarpone cake. The flavor was good but the cake portion had the very grainy, refrigerated cake feel to it. It was $6 for a small slice, but I knew what I was in for when I found out it wasn't made in house.
The staff was nice for the amount of interaction that occurred and the atmosphere was cozy, so if you're just going for drinks, this is probably a great choice. However, I probably would only go back if it were the specific request of someone for a...
