Jake's Pizza Green Bay — Restaurant in Green Bay

I live very close to this place off Broadway. Been here about 5 times now. It takes awhile for thei food to come up. But I have to be honest. It was expensive and just ok. It was actually all the times I have been there kinda dry. Like not enough sauce. And if u get a pie and eat it thee and have a few beverages or beers the prices runs up. Then I have to figure your tip in there. I still go here just cuz it literally is in walking distance and the people here are super nice and chill.

Check them out and see what you think. Honestly, I do know better places. But I do from time to time go here to just get a cheap one topping pizza and get it to go.

Take a moment and look at some of the pictures other people posted and you will see what I mean about a dry pizza. It is like they over-cool it and it comes out almost burnt. It’s above average and I like to support the little local guy. But there are better pizza joints.

Despite it's move to the west side under new ownership, the classic Jake's recipes have returned. Some people has said otherwise but the pizza is as close to my first bite more than 25 years ago. The layout is okay and I have found the staff friendly and helpful. Noise level is higher than at the old east side location when they are busy. Good Happy Hour specials. Several varieties of menu item pizzas are available frozen. Because each fresh pizza is from scratch, plan on a 45 minute wait to chow down or take out. Order in advance by phone if time is of the essence. They can tell you an ETA for when the pizza will be ready. There are pick-up parking spaces in front of the venue. Parking is easier to find after standard business hours. Funny thing about nostalgia, it's hard to bring back as you remember it... but the folks at Jake's are making the effort. Definitely...

5 Irish guys landed in green bay Friday night for Packers Vs niners game. Met Brooke in Lennys Tap bar, she told us to come to Jake's and she'd look after us.. I requested red peppers on my pizza which weren't on the menu, she said she would get them special the next evening. Walking through Walmart next day myself and the lads saw her there peppers in hand.

One of our group got in into Jake's at 8 and brooke had 5 seats reserves at the bar and rest of us arrived little later and we just had the best food and banter for next two hours. Staff in there were go friendly pizzas were delicious. Absolutely made our trip popping into Jake's.. I'm hoping our photo makes it on the wall!!!!!
