Hello,
On Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at approximately 8:30 pm, I made a visit to the Popeyes Restaurant located at 6224 Greenbelt Rd. Greenbelt, MD. 20770. Upon my arrival, I was waited on by the manager named Aziz. I asked him twice how long would it be on Spicy Chicken because I wanted fresh chicken. I then said sir do you hear me asking you a question. Aziz, whom was rude then says that the chicken was fresh and it came out 5 minutes ago. I said ok are you sure because I don’t chicken that has been sitting for a long time. I paid with my bank card and waited on my food. I had to ask him not to give me the dark hard biscuit in the back. When he gave me my chicken, I looked at it and said sir this is not fresh chicken. This chicken has been sitting for a while. He then says what difference does it make, your just getting a two piece. I told him that I did not want the chicken and requested a refund. Aziz then opens the register and gets money out. I said that I paid with my card and that I would like for my money to go back on my card. Aziz then refuses and says we don’t do that here (Refund money back in the original payment form) threw the money in my hand, and walked away. I left the restaurant, sat in my car and customer service. I spoke with a female Customer Car team member and expressed my not so good experience with Popeyes. I left my information and have yet to receive a response. I have been eating at the different Popeyes around the World (from Washington,DC to New Orleans, LA and beyond) since around 1982. I can’t tell you that I have received such disrespect to the customer as well to the Popeyes Establishment from a manager. If this is whom Popeyes has representing them then I can take my money elsewhere. I would like to be contacted by someone in reference to this matter. I have included a picture of the chicken.
Thank...
Read moreWaited 5 minutes to place my order in the drive through, then waited 10 minutes to get to the window. I ordered one plain chicken sandwich and one spicy. When I got to the window, they tell me that they don’t have plain sandwiches, only spicy. I literally had to ask for the manager to explain to me why they were no longer selling plain chicken sandwiches when they were not close to closing. I had to request that they drop a chicken sandwich for me so I could have what I ordered 10 minutes prior. The manager said that he didn’t think I wanted to wait for a plain sandwich, so they didn’t make it when I placed the order. I’ve never heard of anything like this in all my years of coming to Popeyes. This is my first and last time at this location. The cashier was polite, but she didn’t know what to say when I asked if they could make a fresh sandwich. She had to close the window and turn around to ask the manager everything. I asked the cashier if I could get fresh fries when my food was done since I would have to wait at least 10 mins for a plain sandwich. She looked at me with confusion and didn’t know what to say. While I sat in my car facing the restaurant waiting for my sandwich, a guy came out and dumped a whole container of tea on the ground in the parking lot! Why wouldn’t they dump that in the sink!! When they brought my sandwich out, it was the most pale chicken sandwich I have ever seen. It has no color to it and doesn’t look like any chicken sandwich I’ve had before. I asked if it was actually a sandwich or just a chicken breast. I also asked him if he dumped tea in the parking lot. He said yes. I asked why and he said they can dump it either in the parking lot or down the drain. Every car that pulled up to the window had to pull over and wait. Do yourself a favor and skip...
Read moreWent to visit the Popeye's on Greenbelt Road, only to arrive home to find that my order was not correct. My husband and I ordered the shrimp combo and the 3 pc. chix meal (white meat - 1 breast and 2 wings). I traveled back to the location in the pouring rain and asked to speak with the manager, Caroline. After explaining to the manager that we had visited the restaurant about 20 min. ago, and that my order was not correct, and that I would like to have my correct order, the manager had asked the associate whether or not she remembered me and my husbands visit. The associate confirmed that she remember that my husband and I had recently came in to order the items that we had requested. I became frustrated when the manager had stated that she wasn't able to help me, since I did not have a receipt. We made the mistake of declining the receipt, since we made a debit card transaction. I eventually called the police. At that point, the manager seemed willing to be helpful and courteous. At that point, she replaced the incorrect order, and gave us the items we had requested and paid for. I refuse to support a business where management does not lead by example by displaying professionalism and provide acceptable customer service. I will not be returning back to...
