I gave this restaurant a few months before going because it just opened up and the only two times we went, we’ve had issues with the servers. The first time wasn’t too bad, it’s just the server didn’t want to talk and was kind of rude. This last time there were only four of us. It wasn’t too busy and we’d ask for a table and not a booth. We didn’t have to wait long for a table, But we ended up getting a half table half booth. That’s fine, whatever. However, when our server, Allie, came to our table, she said that we need to give her 5 minutes before she can get our drink order. We were nice and gave her that five minutes because we want a time to look at our menu anyway. When she came back, she was getting our drink order and it seemed difficult for her to enter 4 waters on her handheld, let alone my husband ordered a Bacardi rum and Coke. She questioned him if that is on the menu in which we were sitting in the bar and I could see that they did have a bottle of Bacardi rum. I even spelled it out for her. She had to walk away and go check with the bartender to make sure they have it after I even pointed it out. We were now 20 minutes in after being seated before ordering our drinks. My cousin, that I had not seen for a long time took a selfie of him and my son and a picture of my husband and I. The server thought we took a picture of her (don’t flatter yourself) and went and ran to her manager, whom then came out and accused us of taking a picture of her. That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my life and to accuse a customer of this is absolutely wrong!! We then ended up getting another server, Ben, who ended up being a friend of ours and was excellent. We are very nice people and good tippers and other servers at other restaurants know this. She basically lost out on the $60 tip because she was being too conscientious and a little ridiculous and can’t handle her job with customer service. We did nothing wrong to her and to get treated by her and management as we did is wrong. And for management to take her side and make accusations is absolutely absurd. Because I’ve been here twice and had issues, I will say that management needs to teach better Customer Service to some of their servers and not stress so much on just what’s on the menu. Ben is an awesome server, cares about his job, and his customers. We need more servers like Ben and not ones that can’t...
Read moreSo I will never be going back to the new Olive Garden. This was THE WORST service I remember ever having at a restaurant. We called to get on a list early since we were a party of 14. Arrived around 5:50 and waited AN HOUR(!). During that house we watched a party of 10 come in after us and get seated too. We kept being told “15 mins”. The staff has no clue how to manage the seating. We finally get seated after we tell them how to get this done (yes we picked tables and told them to move them together or we were leaving) and we waited almost another 30 minutes to get our drinks ordered! Best part is it took another 15 to get them and more than 30 to get the 1 glass of wine (I had to ask 3 different people!). I wish I could say that was the end, but it’s not.🙄 We had to ask for salad and bread sticks, and they were so frazzled they brought 6(!) bowls of salad. 🤦♀️ Now on to the food. We’re now about an hour into sitting at the table when they take our order. So this is now 2 hours at the restaurant and we’re FINALLY ordering. We got 3 plates-ish at a time, so we didn’t all eat together. Oh, and we never got the appetizer. Again, something I asked for 3 times and never saw; but you bet it was on the bill. 3 hours later, we are finally gone. That whole staff (manager and hostess(es) need either re-trained, or replaced. This all started because 1 of 3 tables they were trying to get for us wouldn’t leave. The manager “didn’t want a bad review or complaint” so he wouldn’t ask them to clear out. Being a Friday night, you have a large party waiting to be seated, the other people were done more than 30 mins, he should’ve offered for them to move to the bar to continue their conversation with a complimentary drink. But… here we are and there’s still going to be a complaint; probably even worse than the other would’ve been. No comp on our bill, the manager never checked on us during the 2 hour service. I don’t think disappointed is even the right word for...
Read moreWe visited Olive Garden yesterday 8/10 for my mother’s 89th birthday, she loved the atmosphere, design and most of all her creamy mushroom sauce pasta. We enjoyed dinning together as a family and celebrating 89 years of wonderful life for our mother, but one thing made our visit very unpleasant, our waitress Kristie was just not up to par, our food took about 45 minutes to come out around 330-3:45 in the afternoon, my mothers pasta came with the wrong noodles the first time, Kristie seemed happy and nice when we first were seated but then she just seemed to be agitated, angry, and very unpleasant, she disappeared at one point for about 10 minutes and another waitress came to see if we needed drink refills or breadsticks and when our waitress came back she smelled terribly of cigarette smoke and was standing in the dining area talking to other wait staff very upset she had not been sent home for the day yet, she was very upset that she was still there at 4pm. She did check on us and bring refills of drinks and bread slowly but her attitude, agitation and want to not be there made it seem like we needed to rush and eat our food so she could leave. The cigarette smell was terrible and just not something we wanted to smell around our food. We will be back again to enjoy the food and atmosphere and hope it’s a better day for...
