Indy Gyros — Restaurant in Greenfield

This is by far the most excited I have been for a new restaurant in a long time. The owner was fabulous and you can tell that he is incredibly passionate about bringing good food to the greenfield scene. He was friendly, gave great recommendations, and helped us select a dish that did not disappoint!

The catfish literally blew me out of the water. Who knew that it would be my favorite item at a gyro shop! We also had lamb gyros, chicken and rice, and jalapeño poppers. Everything was hot, seasoned well, and delicious. Even the smaller items, like sauces, were fantastic! I never knew how good tartar, Tzatziki, and hot sauce could be.

Please give them a shot, show them the appreciation that their food deserves! He mentioned they may start adding Indian dishes to the menu as well, and I am so excited for the new culinary tastes...

I must say, this place may be back. I loved the original place with the original owners. It reminded me of the gyros you can get up in Chicago. However, once the place changed to Indy Gyros, the Gyro food had a dip in food quality. Now, I will say, I only tried it twice, and it was within the first month of reopening so I do give them that. The food was just not the same.

Now, they added some Indian dishes. Omg, it is so good. I asked the cashier what to order from these new dishes (Tikki Marsala and Garlic Nann.) The cashier did ask multiple times if we needed anything while we ate and how was the food. He seemed very interested in our thoughts and super helpful. Amazing! Here it is Christmas day and I'm sitting in the Greenfield rest area. There was a bit of a delay with delivery at no fault of the restraunt. I used uber eats. However the restraunt did reach out to me and even gave me instructions on how I could pick up my order even in my semi. Luckily a Uber eats driver did end grabbing my order and delivered it to me. As for the food I got the chicken gyro for tonight and grabbed a lamb gyro platter for tomorrow. The chicken gyro was delicious, a little messy but they were awesome.
