Ok, I'd really have given this a one-star, but the staffed bumped it up for them. Stopped by for lunch, around 2:30 in the afternoon. The first impression was not good. In the door, the place smelled bad. This would normally make me about face and hightail it out, but it was late, and I was humgry. There were several people waiting for food. No one was ahead of us in line. It took almost five minutes for our order to be taken. I ordered a whopper meal, no onion, and the person I was with ordered a double whopper with cheese meal. The lady that took our order was courteous. The dining room area was pretty dirty. The coke machine was very sticky, and the regular coke needed the syrup bag changed. There was one on the counter by it, so I think they knew it was running low. The counter by it was dirty and in disarray. The floor needed to be mopped, and all of the tables needed to be wiped down. We brushed off the table we sat at. We got our food in under 10 minutes. The fries were hot and fresh. My whopper was warm and looked like they had put cheese on and took it back off, judging by melted cheese on the side of the burger. Definitely not made "fresh", the burger was a bit dry, but the taste was on point. When we first started eating, a homeless guy walked up and started hard staring at us through the window. He stayed there for about two minutes until he got frustrated that we were not acknowledging him. Then he came in to hit us up for 50 cent. When I told him I only had my card, he mumbled something about us being worthless and moved to the next table (there was only us and another set of people in the dining room). As they were telling him no, the staff told him to leave. He kicked the door open and left cursing. He then went to a car to hit them up, and the guy working the drive thru went out to run him off. Ok, with all of that, why the three stars overall? The place appeared very short staffed. I think the staff were trying very hard. The smell when we came in smelled almost like body odor and mildew clothes. I very much suspect the homeless guy is an issue, and he'd been in recently before us. The condition of the dining room can easily be written off to staffing. There only appeared to be three people working and it is a very busy location. The food wasn't great but it wasn't bad either. I would eat...
Read moreI never eat on this side of town; I reside on the Central part of town but I had an appointment and wanted to get something before arriving. I thought, I ordered a pretty low key, easy, breakfast meal. I was dead wrong!! I ordered a #1 which is a sausage, egg and cheese croissant, hashbrowns and orange juice. While placing my order, I over hear another conversation that the cashier is having with people in the back or at the window. I had to repeat my order twice because she was not paying attention. I arrived at the window and the woman acted as if she did not want to take my card. I should have drove off then but did not. She took my payment, didn't really make eye contact, no real words...nothing!! The cashier started handing me my bag but I stopped her and asked for ketchup(politely)...she proceeded to hand me the bag, my orange jucie, and multiple packs of ketchup. She then asked "is that enought of ketchup...?" Ummm, you think!?! My question is, how many hands do you suppose, I have!?! Smh! I remember that I was only blessed with two hands and I don't know how to juggle. It was ridicoulous!! Why didn't she, just put the ketchup in the bag!?! I put had to pull everything into my chest to keep things from falling/spilling over. I pulled up slightly to view the inside of my bag, something, I ALWAYS do...I opened the sandwich and it's warm(room temp..smh) the cheese was barely melted, the egg and sausage was stuck together...the sandwich looked thrown together. I did not have time to back up because some one was behind me at this point and I could not run in because I was on the cusp of being late for my appointment. The hanshbrowns were warm too! I was so disappointed and even regreted spending 5 bucks and change, that it haunted me all day. I will Not be back; I will stick close to my side of town or just skip breakfast altogether while on this...
Read moreThis establishment consistently disappoints me. On Sunday 3/25/18, I decided, against my better judgement, to give this particular Burger Kingn located on Summit Avenue, another try. I proceeded to go through the drive thru where I initially placed my order. Once I arrived at the window, the cashier stated she did not have my order and asked that I repeat my order. She then asks me to pull down so that she can serve the customer behind me. After about 10 minutes, an employee brings out a bag which contained no napkins & no ketchup (all of which I specifically asked for extra of). In addition, my fries tastedncold and old. My whopper was not made my way and was completely incorrect. I then decided to enter the restaurant so they could correct the problem. After another 10-15 minutes I thought i wouldn't have any further issues but unfortunately when i checked over my order, the fries were shriveled up, cold & old. They then offered to drop fresh fries in the oil which took another 4 minutes. Finally, inreceived my order. In addition to receiving an incorrect and poorly served order,
